granola snackers and kids

I was so lucky to be selected to help raise awareness for the new Post® Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers! As a mom of two boys I’m always looking for easy and tasty breakfast and snack options that they will actually eat. One of them is extremely picky so this is often a hard task to accomplish.

Post® Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers fits the bill (and exceeds it). Not only are they super delicious they are super easy to make. And QUICK. You can get them from box to oven in less than five minutes.

They are as easy as 1, 2, 3 – just prep, mix, and bake! Just add butter, brown sugar, and honey to the granola mix, squish into muffin tins, and bake for 12 minutes. Every mom should have these on hand for snacks, breakfast, and even dessert. They allow moms to make a home baked goodie in a snap!

Each Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snacker is made with whole grain rolled oats, crisp rice and wildflower honey providing at least 11 grams of whole grains per serving. Now this is AWESOME!

Nutritionists recommend eating around 48 grams of whole grains per day. Just by eating a few Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers you practically got your daily requirement covered in a healthy, tasty treat. Can we say win, win!?

I love the fact that Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers can double as a dessert – a yummy, healthy one. The amazing flavors that they come in – honey oat, chocolate chip, and cranberry vanilla (the favorite) are delicious on their own. BUT they have the option of being even more yummy with add ins.

You can create new treats just by adding things like marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts, crushed cookies or graham crackers, dried fruit, candy, or even peanut butter like I did.

I added peanut butter to the chocolate chip Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers for more oomph. Nothings better than chocolate and peanut butter together. Yum!

taco party

For my husband’s 33rd birthday we had over my family for a taco bar party and ended it with these yummy Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers. Everyone loved them! They had so much fun teasing each other about the bakers hats and getting dressed in their getup. It was a grand old time.

In the future I would love to make s’more Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers by adding chocolate chips, graham crackers, and marshmallows to the mix. My mouth is watering now! They would be the perfect, healthier campout treat for cub scout meetings where you can’t exactly roast marshmallows.
