Being a mom of two boys I am always keeping an eye out on ways to keep my house cleaner. I’ve found that giving them drinks in cups without lids is just asking for a mess. I do let my 7 year old use cups without lids but my 3 year old would dump it all over the place without some type of lid on it. I usually give him cups that have straws to make him feel slightly more like a big boy. Heck, I use a straw to drink my coffee. I don’t know why but I just like straws. Straws aren’t expensive by any means but anything that is reusable makes less trash in turn helping the environment is worth using.

Epica Stainless Steel Drinking Straws are just that stainless steel straws that have the look of bent plastic straws but without the worry of BPA or sending more trash to the landfills. These straws can be used year after year and just look so much more stylish than plastic straws. I think these straws are great! They even are dishwasher safe but if you really want to wash them by hand they come with their own cleaning brush. It was a little different hearing a clicking sound on glasses or bowls while using them (plastic makes no noise) but that’s just something to get used to. My son had no issues using them whatsoever and it sure did dress up his cereal bowl while he slurped the milk out of it with these straws. Do you like using straws or do you prefer to drink from the glass?

Comments

  1. I like the look of these, and this is the first time I have heard of them

  2. I’m not much on straws, but don’t mind them in drinks I have when dining out. I wonder if the stainless steel straw would get unpleasantly cold when drinking a milkshake?
