Honeybaked ham super sandwich

Have you ever noticed how stressful hosting a party can be? The planning is the fun part. You get to decide on décor, food, invitations, party drinks, and entertainment but when it actually comes down to D day things can get hectic.

I always seem to have a problem with weather when it comes to an outdoor event. Last year my son’s nicely decorated outer space themed birthday party had food and decorations blowing off the tables due to high winds. I was so upset that all my hard work got ruined.

Indoor parties can have their challenges too. You have to make sure all the food you have prepared is done at the appropriate time and in sync with the rest of the party. I often feel like I’m running around with my head cut off trying to make sure everything is where it’s supposed to be and done correctly.

Parties are even more stressful when you are making all the food from scratch. Things may not taste as well as you expected or you may accidentally char something to a crisp. For once I’d like to have a hassle free party and that’s my goal for the Super Bowl this year.

Did you know the Super Bowl is the biggest “party at home” day of the year, topping even New Year’s Eve. Wow! One thing that can make any party more hassle free is to have all the food prepared for you. I know this takes a load off my shoulders. Honeybaked Ham can help with this.

For instance take the Super Sandwich. All you have to do is call, order online, or go to your local Honeybaked Ham store to order it then pick it up when it’s done. Bam! You have an instant party pleaser that is done and ready to go.

I called my local Honeybaked Ham store the day before I wanted my Super Sandwich. I informed them that the event I wanted it for was for Sunday (a day that they are closed) to see if there would be any issue with still placing an order.

Their suggestion was to go ahead and order the Super Sandwich today and pick up at the end of business hours. They said that they normally only need a two hour notice to make the Super Sandwich. I was so pleased with their service. The lady couldn’t have been nicer and fully explained what the sandwich entailed.

Everything was packaged so nicely with napkins, a carrying box – everything needed to have a great meal. They also nicely packaged all the toppings (lettuce and tomato) separately so the bread wouldn’t get soggy (since we weren’t eating it that day). It worked out perfectly!

We picked up our Super Sandwich at 4:30pm Saturday and didn’t eat it till 8pm Sunday. It still tasted great! The Super Sandwich was amazing! All of our guests scarfed it down including my picky kids.

We ordered a medium Super Sandwich Ultimate. It came with HoneyBaked Ham, glazed roast turkey breast, honey spice bacon, baby swiss cheese, and cheddar cheese piled high on a rustic pan bread. The bread is that hard type of bread so it easily adapted to being in the fridge over night.

With the Super Sandwich you get to choose one meat and one cheese, but both types of Super Sandwiches come with lettuce, tomato, and a bottle of honey mustard mayo. Can we say yum!?

The Super Sandwich comes in two different sizes – medium (feeds 6-10) and large (feeds 12-20). Just pick based on the size of your party and you are good to go. Just add some drinks and chips and your Super Bowl party is sure to be a hit!
