K5 Learning has an online reading and math program for kindergarten to grade 5 students. I’ve been given a 6 week free trial to test and write a review of their program. If you are a blogger, you may want to check out their open invitation to write an online learning review of their program.
Over the next 6 weeks I will be using this program with my six year old son. I believe it is so important to stay on top of reading and math during the summer months. If kids aren’t practicing those skills daily they will forget some of the most basic things. I sure know that my son has a short attention span. I could only imagine what he could forget over 3 months.
He’s always asking “What can I do?”. He asks this ALL of the time. It can be quite annoying when I have no idea what he should be doing. That’s why I am so happy to be able to review this learning program (I have a hard time thinking of things to “teach” on my own). I can’t wait to try this out! It will be a great addiction to Scholastic Printable Worksheets. Stay tuned for my complete review of K5 Learning. How do you keep your kids up to par on their math and reading skills during the summer months?

Sounds like a great program reading is so important and yes so is math but I am reader and would rather read the do math……….lol

I am not a math person at all either but then again I don’t read much unless it’s on the computer lol. The program is going well so far but my son isn’t too thrilled about “learning” in the summer yet.

AWESOME!!!! Even as an adult, these programs have got me interested in learning more. I hated Math in school but, I was great in English!! I see that a lot of very young children learn a lot from these programs, They’re just a wonderful idea!!!!!!
(I forgot to mention the giveaway)
These programs for children are important just as the toilet seat cover is an important task children need to know about, for real!!!! I have always told my kids growing up that they need to make sure to NOT sit on the public toilets because mainly of the things they could catch, just gross!!!!! The Potty Cover is the best toilet seat cover I have EVER seen or even heard about!!!!

I agree! Almost everything our children come across is a way for them to learn. The more they learn the better.
