Spinach Feta Flatbread Pizza Recipe: Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta Review

Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta
As a quick snack or as an appetizer my grandmother often likes to make bruschetta on French bread. She usually makes everything by hand (and freezes it) but with having two kids I don’t always have time to do that.

Good thing Bella Sun Luci makes incredible sun dried tomato products. They are a family owned and operated company that uses an authentic family recipe for their bruschetta. The recipe combines the wonderful flavors of sun ripened tomatoes, fresh basil, premium olive oil, and Italian herbs to create a truly “homemade” Mediterranean Italian taste.

I was so grateful to receive several of Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato products (Sun Dried Julienne Cut Tomatoes with Italian Herbs, Sun Dried Tomato Halves with Italian Herbs, Sun Dried Tomato Pesto with Whole Pine Nuts, and Bruschetta with Italian Basil). They would be perfect in so many recipes.

I tasted each one and they all have a truly Italian taste. The herbs and oil olive just shine through enhancing the sun dried tomatoes. Amazing. I just had to try the Bruschetta with Italian Basil. I found a recipe called Spinach and Feta Pizza Bake that I thought it would taste heavenly on. I altered the recipe a bit to turn it into a pizza and just eyed most ingredients.

Spinach Feta Flatbread Pizza Recipe


  • two handfuls of spinach
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 2 TB Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta with Italian Basil
  • one mushroom
  • sprinkle of garlic powder and pizza seasoning
  • olive oil
  • feta
  • parmesan
  • round flatbread


Preheat the over to 350 degrees. On medium heat, sautee the spinach and garlic in a pan coated with olive oil. Once the spinach is sautéed set aside. Lightly brush the flatbread with olive oil and spread on the bruschetta. Sprinkle on feta then top with spinach, parmesan, and mushrooms. Season with garlic powder and pizza seasoning. Bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Also, did you know sun dried tomatoes have more nutrition than fresh tomatoes? I didn’t. And they are lycopene rich and a proven antioxidant. Nice, I could always use more nutrients in the foods I eat.
