Sunsella Buddy Box's
After reading my review of MIRA Stainless Steel Lunch Box containers you might know I’ve been slacking on making my son’s school lunches lately. It’s baseball season and that means most nights we are out at the ballpark watching our kid’s games. It’s great and we love it but it leaves very little time when we get home late on a school night.

Good news though! Once I received Sunsella’s Bento Lunch Boxes my lunch production increased. It’s so much easier to put food in each of the three compartments rather than scrambling for various containers and naughty, ungreen plastic bags. I love it! Plus, they fit nicely in both of my son’s lunch bags. Here are the dimensions to make sure they will fit in the bag you are wanting to use. Length 9.5″ x width 6.2″ x height 2.2″.

Sunsella Buddy Box’s Bento Lunch Boxes come in a set of 4. They are made of a hard a durable, non toxic plastic with colorful lids. I’m pretty sure I could stand on these things without them being squished. They can be used in the microwave (for hot lunches), in the freezer (for storing), and can even be cleaned in the dishwasher. I hate things I have to scrub by hand.

Watching your weight and trying to retrain your eating habits? These Bento Lunch Boxes are also great for portioning out your food. Compartment one holds 3 1/2 cups, compartment two holds 1 1/3 cups, and compartment three hold 1 cup.

These containers aren’t completely leak proof so I would be extremely careful if you were putting something in them like soup but the normal lunch foods should be fine. I’d put more juicy type foods if an adult was using them but a kid would just turn them sideways and hold it upside down and things might leak. Or not. The lids do stay on really well but yet are easy for a child to take off.

I would highly recommend these bento lunch boxes. Sunsella knocked this one out of the park!

  1. What a great idea for busy parents and picky eaters. I love the fact that the Bento Box can hold different amounts of different types of foods. Can really help count those calories. 🙂

    • Yes, it’s great for adults too Susan! Much easier to keep track of what you are eating when everything is a certain portion size.
