3 Ways to Save on Diapers

We all know parenting isn't the cheapest thing in the world. On average, middle-class parents spend over $220,000 on their children from birth to 18 years old. But did you know you can expect to pay at least $600 on just disposable diapers in just the first year alone (if you are lucky!)? By the time you add up all of the other expenses newborns entail it's a small fortune to some. Thankfully, there are a few ways you can lessen the diaper burden.

Don't Forget About Newspaper Coupons

Some people think couponing is old school. Well, let me tell you it is not! If you know how to do it right you can save a ton of money on diapers this way. There are even ways to get name brand diapers for under 5 bucks!

Be sure to keep an eye out for this Sunday’s newspaper (Aug. 14, 2016) for an insert from P&G with a Luvs coupon offering $2 of any one diaper pack. This coupon can be used at any mass, discount or grocery store where Luvs Diapers are sold to save you some moola!

Buy Quality Diapers

There's nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night to a sopping wet mattress and crying baby. Especially when you are half asleep. Luckily, this is something that can be prevented.

Buying quality diapers like Luvs can save you the headache of cleaning up a mess at 3am and even money! Better quality diapers have better absorption which means less leaks and unnecessary diaper changes.

Luvs has super absorbent leakguards and nightLock plus™ (its largest absorbency area ever) to keep your baby dry and comfortable all night long. If you aren’t satisfied with the leakage protection of Luvs, they’ll refund your money!

Utilizing the Ibotta App

Ibotta save on diapers

Ibotta is a smartphone app that allows you to earn cash back on in-store and mobile purchases. All you have to do is keep your receipt and scan the bar codes of the products you buy. Simple, right!? This allows you to save money on diapers and items you would already purchase.

Download the free Ibotta app, available on iOS and Android, and search “Luvs” to unlock an exclusive $5 rebate:

  • Download Ibotta on iTunes OR Ibotta on Google Play
  • Go shopping for your Luvs diapers at any participating store.
  • Verify your purchases by scanning product barcodes and submitting a photo of your receipt.
  • Save money and earn cash back! Your $5 cash back rebate will be deposited into your Ibotta account within 48 hours!

It’s always quality over quantity for mys sister when she was still in her first year with my niece. Cheap diapers can really ruin everybody’s sleep. Using coupons is a great tip though!

Quality diapers are so important. I started out with one brand and switched three times before I found the brand that met my budget and needs.
