The Internet has become a great resource for moms to find answers to problems and get advice from other moms. When it comes to sharing online, the Internet definitely makes some things easier than others for the busy mom who is trying to run a home.

Recipes

There is a whole culture on the Internet that has grown up around the idea of moms sharing recipes. Message boards and other online communities have thousands of members that find it much easier to swap recipes online than actually writing them out and mailing them. Moms can post pictures of the meals they have created and then offer to share the recipe with the click of a button.

Saving Money Online

Many moms have turned saving money online into an art form, and they love to share that information with others. This is more than just checking out the weekly lotto results, these are moms who have become proficient at finding coupon websites and utilizing them to save money on a variety of items. Moms looking for advice on the best coupon sites and how to use them will find other moms more than willing to share that information over a message board or in an email.

Making Money Online

There are websites and online networks of moms that are constantly sharing new ways to make money online. Many moms could use a few extra
dollars to help around the house, and these websites have strategies for sweepstakes and other ways to make a few dollars from home. Moms can share information on how to get paid for surfing the Internet, taking online surveys or writing Internet content about raising children.

Pictures and Videos

Before the Internet, it was quite a chore for moms to share pictures with each other. If the moms could not meet face to face, then copies of the pictures had to be made and mailed off at someone's expense. When it came to sharing home videos of the family, most moms didn't even try. With the Internet, moms can now share pictures and videos easily with other moms and also with family members who live out of town.

Advice

When a mom is trying to take care of her children and the household, there is not always time for long phone conversations with her other moms. One of the things that has been going on for a very long time is moms offering other moms advice. The Internet has opened up this avenue of communication to the point where moms from all over the world can now share advice with each other through email or on message boards. Now moms can share advice without having to tie themselves up on the phone. They can answer emails and leave message board responses when everything is quiet and everyone is asleep. Moms always have a lot of advice to give and could also use the occasional piece of advice from time to time. The Internet has made it easier for moms to share things that they may have avoided sharing in the past.

What is your favorite thing to share online?

I am like that too. It is so much easier. That’s probably the reason I rather text too.
