I have never been a huge roast beef fan. I will eat it but it’s definitely not my go to fast food sandwich. It’s just not something I crave. I do crave a nice juicy burger every now and again though. It even sounds good right now and it’s 8 in the morning. I probably don’t crave roast beef because Arby’s is a unique restaurant. There are burger joints everywhere and only one place that serves fast food roast beef – Arby’s. I think my parents just took the easy way out on road trips since I barely remember ever eating at Arby’s when I was a child.
My husband and kids on the other hand LOVE Arby’s Roast Beef Sandwiches. I used to get the chicken club sandwich when they were having a roast beef cravings but I don’t think they even make that anymore, sadly. Arby’s does have great fries and mozzarella sticks though. I can always fill up on those if I am in need of some extra calories (It is possible to eat healthy at fast food restaurants though).
I’m SO glad Arby’s now has the Grand Turkey Club Sandwich and Grand Turkey Ham Club on their menu. I have tried the Grand Turkey Club sandwich before and it’s quite good. The turkey tastes fresh like after Thanksgiving turkey. The sandwich is made of freshly sliced, hot roasted turkey, melted Swiss Cheese, pepper bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo served on a Harvest Wheat bun. It’s a nice sandwich! The Grand Turkey Ham Club is basically the exact same sandwich with the added bonus of ham. I can’t wait to try that one. I love me a club sandwich. I only wish their was the option of regular bacon instead of pepper bacon. I’m not a big pepper person but nonetheless they are still great alternatives to Arby’s classic roast beef sandwiches.
Have you tried the Grand Turkey Club or Grand Turkey Ham Club Sandwich yet? You should! Find an Arby’s near you to try these great new sandwiches.
