Big Boss Swirlio
Let me say I do have quite a sweet tooth. You can expect most nights I'll be craving a sweet a few hours past dinner. It's just the way I'm programmed. Honestly I think it has to do when I was little. Every time I'd stay at my grandma and grandpa's house I knew that once it was dark it was time for dessert. It kind of stayed with me I guess.

My kids and I can't be eating Peanut Butter Drizzled Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies, my Yumtastic Brownies, or even my Sugar Cookie Truffles every night. That's just asking to pack on the pounds and then have to turn around join Weight Watchers or something.

Nights where we can't have a real sweet we often opt for things like cereal or my Peanut Butter Banana Bites. Even just a glass of chocolate milk can hit the spot. I recently had the chance to review an awesome dessert maker – the Big Boss Swirlio Frozen Fruit Dessert Maker!

It makes a super healthy dessert in just seconds with you guess it – fruit! All you do is take your favorite frozen fruits and let them thaw for a few minutes, push them down the chute, and a yummy dessert is pushed out. I was never quite able to get my dessert to look as pretty as their pictures but it sure does taste yummy!

It's funny how the kids gobble it up just because it's frozen and looks like ice cream but is way easier to make (and healthier!). Making ice cream takes time. With the Big Boss Swirlio Frozen Fruit Dessert Maker you can have a frozen delight in about 7-11 minutes depending on how long you let the fruit thaw.

I love that there are so many combinations of fruit you can try. You can even add in other ingredients like chocolate chips to make it sweeter if you like. It's so versatile! And it's so easy to clean too. Just pop the parts in the top part of the dishwasher and you are set! The Big Boss Swirlio Frozen Fruit Dessert Maker comes with 50 delicious recipes that look amazing and I can't wait to try as many as I can!!

What is your favorite healthy dessert?

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I would love to try this! I prefer sorbet to ice cream.

I agree! Eating a frozen fruit sorbet is way tastier than plain ice

Oh how cool! It’s like a juicer, only yummier!;-) My favorite healthy dessert would have to be a glass of wine and cheese…does that count?;-)

That totally counts!! LOL. I think that’s my dad’s favorite too but with strawberries instead of cheese 🙂

I’ve been known to make smoothies when the weather gets nicer. Berry parfaits are always a good and fairly health desert, but I’d much rather go with peanut butter and chocolate most days 😉

I’m there with ya on peanut butter and chocolate. Yum! When I crave a sweet typically it’s ice cream so these frozen treats trick my brain at times 🙂
