At the beginning of the year, I was really into detox teas. I was trying to start the year off right and maybe lose a couple pounds in the process. It worked for a while but I quickly learned that good detox teas are expensive and I didn’t want to be constantly shelling out money for dried leaves. I decided to do some research and found that some fruits can have a detox effect as well.
I whipped out my Infused Water Pitcher and started playing around with fruit combinations. One of my favorites on a hot day is blackberry mint infused water. Blackberries have one of the highest antioxidant counts of any fruit while mint helps digestion and weight loss. This makes for a powerful and yummy combination!
To make my Blackberry Mint Detox Water I simply filled the removable infuser core of my pitcher with crushed mint leafs and blackberries. I have mint coming out the wazoo in my front yard so it’s a much cheaper option for me than the detox teas I used to buy online.
I love that the infuser core of my water pitcher can be switched to a freezable ice core if I wish. The lid securely fits in place so I don’t have to worry about it falling off when pouring myself a glass and it’s even dishwasher safe. This infused water pitcher is made of a hard plastic that’s strong and looks gorgeous. It would make a great gift for anyone!
