Over the years my son has had a variety of bedroom themes. We've gone from a moon and stars nursery to little boys themes like Elmo to older boys themes like Mario and Spiderman.

However, we have a tween, almost teenager on our hands now. SCARY! That means the character themes of the old days are a no-go. My son wouldn't be caught dead wearing a character shirt let alone having his room decked out with one.

He now gravitates toward a more modern look with colors of black and white. I swear this kid would have everything white if it was up to him. He LOVES the color white for EVERYTHING. He's even complaining about wanting a white pair of jeans ;-p

I decided to compromise and said we'd do black and white for his room color theme. Black is his second favorite color, of course. I found a few beddings sets online and let him pick from there. However, I gave him no choice with the sheet set – we were going with PeachSkinSheets no matter what!

The Fabric

I don't know about you, but I can't sleep well if I am too hot or cold (especially hot). If I am too hot I spend more time tossing and turning than I do sleeping. PeachSkinSheets are also anti-snag. In the winter time, my dry feet snag on regular sheets. It's VERY annoying. I either have to scrub my feet, hang them off the edge, or use sheets like these.

Oh, and pet hair doesn't weave into these sheets either!! We have 4 cats and a dog. Needless to say, pet hair is part of our lives but it doesn't need to be embedded in our sheets too. My son sleeps with at least one cat every night so THANK YOU PeachSkinSheets!
