Having a cell phone is like breathing these days. It's a surprise that children don't pop out of the womb with one in their hands, they are used THAT MUCH. They allow you to send and receive messages from colleagues and family members and keep you updated with the world around you. You can get instant updates on almost any industry if you want it. However, there are a few problems that can pop up when you have small children at home.
Kids are curious, and they want to be just like YOU. This includes the want for a phone. They will keep on bugging you and bugging you until you let them have it. This can lead to a broken phone 😕
Here are a few strategies you can use so your precious phone doesn't become a broken phone.
Not a Broken Phone (Yet)
If your kids don't cause you to have a broken phone, you most definitely will at least have a dirty phone. You will get all types of dirt and scratches, just kid gunk all over your phone.
Buy some screen cleaning wipes so you will always have a new looking phone in your hands.
Invest in a Strong Case

A case is not only good for protecting your phone against your kids but also against you. I know I drop my phone several times a day. That’s a dangerous trend if your phone does not have a case. I would have had a broken phone a long time ago if I didn't have an Otterbox Defender.
Buying a strong case like this is a must in my opinion. Go ahead and back your phone case with a glass screen protector too. My son has cracked his iPad screen despite having a case. Double protection really can do wonders!
Get an App Lock
Kids are good at getting into everything even on your phone. They may text or call people accidentally like your local spiritual leader or boss. I'm sure they would understand but it's a better idea to just prevent this from happening at all.
You can prevent these challenges by getting an App lock that will prevent your kids from accessing some if not all of your applications.
Install a Safe Browser
It's also a good idea to install a safe browser that blocks adult content. This way that can safely play internet games or browse around the net without coming across objectionable or mature content. Or downloading a virus will kill your phone!
Buy a Glass Screen Protector
Probably the most common element of a broken phone is a cracked screen. Kids, especially toddlers, often drop phones on hard surfaces or throw them across the room. Mine did it and yours will too. Obviously, this can cause the screen to crack.
Cracked screens can hurt your hands and make it difficult to use the touch aspect of today's modern mobile phones. You don’t want to keep on replacing your screen, do you? This can add up quickly. Instead, consider buying Apple iPhone Xs screen protectors for your iPhone and forget about this common problem.
