Have you ever tried something that you just couldn’t get enough of? Almondina Toastees are something that everyone needs to try. They are delicious and there is no salt or fat added, which makes them a great snack any time of the day. A delicious crisp without the guilt!
About the Company
You may be wondering what makes the Almondina Brand different. Well, they have a unique story that is worth sharing. The Zaliouk family loved Grandma Dina’s secret family cookie recipe for years but it was a recipe she kept to herself until the end of her life. She called them Petit Gateau Sec, a delicious crispy wafer with almonds.
Once the rest of the Zaliouk family got their hands on the recipe, they just had to share these delicious and amazing wonders with the world. And lovingly named them Almondina after her.
Different Flavors Available
One thing I love about Almondina Toastees is the variety of flavors available. Let’s talk about the different flavors they offer! My favorite is the Coconut Orange Almond. I love the hint of orange zest in them, inspiring my Coconut Orange Bark recipe.
There is also Cranberry Almond, Lemon Poppy Almond, and Sesame Almond. If you’d like to try out all the flavors, they have a variety pack you can pick up.
Buying Almondina Toastees
Now that you know a little more about the company and all the delicious flavors they have available, you may be wondering where to buy these yummy treats. Well, you can order them straight from their website, or you can head to the “Find a Store” and put in your zip code. The website will then tell you the closest store with their products.
If you don’t have them in a store near you, make sure you purchase them online at places like Amazon. The internet has done wonders for us in 2017, which means you don’t have to miss out on anything! Almondina Toastees could be on your doorstep in just a few days if you order today!
Great For On The Go
One of my favorite parts of Almondina Toastees is that I can take them anywhere. They’re easy to put into a bag or a purse. My kids also love them, which is a great bonus. Whenever the whole family can agree on a snack, it’s always a win in my book. We are involved in a lot of activities that require us to pack our own snacks. When you find a snack that is great for on the go, you hang onto it! Plus, it doesn’t have any added junk, so that helps me stay on track with my eating.
Almondina Toastees are the perfect snack for my family and they are for yours too. Grab these Toastees for a special treat and to make your life a whole lot easier. I promise you can’t go wrong!
Coconut Orange Bark
I just HAD to create a delicious treat with these amazing cookies. Taking inspiration from the Coconut Orange Almond Almondina Toastees and my The Best Almond Toffee Bark Recipe, I gave them a tropical makeover.
Orange and coconut go so well together in this delicious and easy candy recipe. It’s sweet and SO ADDICTIVE!
Coconut Orange Bark + Almondina Toastees
- 8 oz white chocolate chips
- Coconut Orange Almond Almondina Toastees
- 1/2-1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/4-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Orange Slice Wedges Candy
- Orange food coloring
- Shredded coconut
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. In the center of the baking sheet, line the Toastees side by side forming a large rectangle in the center.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate and oil in the microwave in 30 second intervals until smooth.
Pour and spread the melted chocolate over the Toastees with a spatula.
With a toothpick swirl around a little bit of food coloring and extract into the melted chocolate.
Top with cut up orange slices and coconut.
Freeze for 30 minutes or until hard. Break apart and enjoy!
