Every day new beauty and skincare products get produced. It's no wonder since everyone wants to beat the clock and stay fabulous looking as long as possible.
The question everyone wants to know is how.

Cleaning your face in the morning using cold water is a great pick-me-up. Wash your face, apply serum, and moisturize it.
Ensure your cleanser is gentle yet effective so your skin doesn't become unnecessarily aggravated.
If your skincare products contain antioxidants, they are best to be part of your morning routine. The daytime is when your face is most exposed to pollution and the sun.
Antioxidants help counteract reactive oxygen species and free radicals that break down elastin and collagen and mutate DNA. This causes sagging, dull, and pigmented skin.
After cleansing, you can also choose to use an eyelash booster. We've been using the Ultra Eyelash Booster by Cosmesis. It is best applied morning and night directly to your lashes. Just make sure it fully dries before using any other products.
The Ultra Eyelash Booster will help you get longer, thicker lashes over time by providing essential nutrients and moisture. It does this with the power of plant stem cells and peptides that help regulate your eyelash growth cycle.
We love that this is applied via a wand versus a brush. It makes it a lot easier to apply!
You can purchase Cosmesis products at DR Vitamin Solutions online.
They offer only:
the very best quality nutritional vitamins and supplements that make sense out of the vast array of products on the market today – all for the lowest prices permitted by the manufacturers.
After that, be sure to end your morning skincare routine with sunscreen. We all know how bad the sun is for our skin.
Skin Types and Skin care 101 for Beginners
If you have dry skin, use a moisturizing serum that has vitamin C plus ferulic acid. Want an additional hydration boost? Add hyaluronic acid too.
If your skin is oily, use an antioxidant serum that is light and oil-free if you are prone to breakouts.
If you are prone to acne, brown spots, or redness, a moisturizer that has niacinamide in it is a good idea. It will assist in balancing your oil production and improve the texture of your skin.
Evening daily skin care routine at home
For your evening daily skincare routine, start by removing makeup and cleansing the face. Going to sleep without cleaning your face is the greatest skincare mistake you can make.
If you choose to cleanse your face with makeup wipes, try to use natural ones. Similar to how it's better to use a natural oven cleaner in the kitchen, natural products should make their way into your beauty routine too. Try to avoid wipes that contain a lot of chemicals.
After cleansing, use toner and any serums you may need. Then moisturize like crazy, including using an under-eye cream. Lately, we have been using Under Eye Rescue Cream by Cosmesis.
Under Eye Rescue Cream helps lessen dark circles and puffiness. It does contain a potent antioxidant tea extract, so you can also use it as part of your morning routine as well. Bonus!
It absorbs quickly and has a pleasant scent too. It may be in our head, but we swear we can feel it tighten our sensitive eye skin shortly after applying it.
Don't Forget Exfoliation!
Avoid using harsh scrubs. Experts recommend using a chemical product for exfoliating. These products contain BHA and AHA. Though they sound scary, they are not abrasive as a scrub.
If you are still reasonably young or have dry skin, don't overuse products that contain BHA or AHA. Too much can cause dryness and flaking and can make it harder to tolerate other anti-aging products.
Try to exfoliate a couple of times a week after cleansing during your morning routine. Stay beautiful!
SOME GOOD ADVICE, THANKS FOR SHARING!
I never heard of an eyelash booster before! As an almost 40 year old mom of 2 littles these products would be amazing!
A lot of people haven’t heard of an eyelash booster before because people often forget their eyelashes could use some vitamins too. Who wouldn’t want longer lashes?
Oils are a must for both my day and nighttime skincare routines with separate lotions/cremes though. I use spf in my daytime and anti-aging anything for my night creams LOL I like this line honestly
What kind of skin oil do you use?
I make my own using various oils and serums and pour certain amounts in a spray bottle 🙂
That’s awesome – natural skincare is always great!
In the evening, I remove my eye makeup with micellar water. Currently using Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water. I then remove my makeup with a makeup removing wipe, followed by a cleanser, then a swish of rose water or toner. I am currently using rosewater by Ziri, and it is the bomb! I then apply an eye cream, and a nighttime moisturizer. Thanks for the giveaway!
I am actually using a sample of that micellar water right now! It’s doing great on my skin 🙂
I use a gentle cleanser as I have Rosacea then use a good moisturizer that isn’t too oily.
I sometimes wonder if I have rosacea but I have redness on my cheeks. The dermatologist gave me soolantra and rhofade but they didn’t seem to help.
My skincare routine is simple:I cleanse with plain warm water, I apply Olay for moisturizer, and after 20 minutes I apply whatever makeup I may wear for the day. I will use night cream twice a week, but otherwise I don’t have any particular skincare products I use.
That’s still a great skincare routine to have. You are ahead of the game!
My skin is dry and I love the hyaluronic acid serum from Go Pure. The price point is not bad and it really goes a long way. Plus my skin loves it so much. I have struggled with skin issues and you are absolutely right finding a good skincare for your skin type and sticking to it is really helpful.
I am a fan of hyaluronic acid serum too. My skin needs the moisture!
These products all look great. I would love to try the eyelash booster.
We all could use longer, thicker lashes, right?
I definitely need to ‘up’ my skincare routine. I typically wash with soap and water, and then use a daily face wash. I am always looking for products that will help me maintain my skin.
I hope you moisturize after washing your face 😉
I use facial cleansers and then some moisturizers. I hate to admit I get cheap brands.
Nothing wrong with using cheap skincare products. It’s better to use that than nothing.
These sound really nice, the vitamin c cream looks really good.
I use a serum that has a combo and vitamin C is in it too. It’s great for the skin!
I used to be obsessed with my skincare routine and had an extensive (and expensive) day/night set up. Then my depression took a turn for the worse, longer than normal so my personal care went out the window. I would only use micellar water to do quick cleanups. Now I’m getting back into it as I noticed a huge difference in my skin’s health. Money is very tight right now but thankfully I have quite a buildup of samples that I’ve been using. I can be very self conscious so I definitely need a steady routine of the same products that are excellent quality like these.
I’m sorry to hear about your depression. That’s never fun. I hope you can get back to your old ways too and start feeling like you again!
My skincare routine really just consists of washing my face and in between washes I use witch hazel as a toner. Pretty simple!
A pretty solid skincare routine – maybe just throw in some moisturizer to really complete it 🙂
I really don’t use makeup anymore.
Just eyeliner and blush and lipstick on special occasions. I need to get back into a skincare routine!
You probably have great skin and don’t need anything extra!
Nice review! I mainly like to use the ordinary products for hyperpigmentation and all, but would like to add things like this in there. Especially the hyaluronic acid since I’ve heard it’s very hydrating on the skin.
I’m a big fan of anything that can hydrate my skin more. I often get dry patches on my face.
I start every day by washing my face with a Vitamin C Cleanser.
I then use a serum and a sunscreen on both my face and neck area.
What kind of face serum do you use?
I currently use a cleanser and toner for my routine. These products would help my skin so much!
Do you have a favorite toner brand?
This is a great review of what to use for different types of skin. I definitely think I would like to incorporate products with BHA or AHA. At age 45 it’s about time.
Adding BHA or AHA to your skincare routine would be great. Better late than never!
Adding BHA or AHA to your skincare routine would be great. Better late than never!
Sometimes a simple skincare routine is all you need if you have great skin
I have very oily skin and I have adult acne. I normally use origins skincare products but they are very pricy. I have found that most of the walmart (cheap stuff) skincare doesn’t not work AT ALL.
I have not tried Origins skincare products. Which products of theirs do you use?
I have a simple routine clean, serum and moristurizer. Night It about the same only I vary what I use at night. I have found that 2 or 3 times a week that if I use a sleep mask cream my skin is more hydrated
I just added a sleep mask to my skincare routine. I’m glad to hear that it works for you!
I have a skincare routine for morning and night. I use face cleansers, peptide/vitamin c/retinol/Hyaluronic acid serums and lotions, products with coffee ingredients, exfoliating products, and a few more. What products I use differs depending on the seasons. In the warmer months I can’t use the serums and lotions as much because I have oily skin, and my pores get clogged. In the cold months I get extremely dry skin and need to use lotions, etc, more than twice a day.
Sounds like you have a really good skincare routine in place. Kudos!
I generally use a daily cleanser, sometimes an exfoliating product and a tinted moisturizer during the day. Some days I wear make up too. In the evening I use a daily cleanser, a mask, serum, eye cream and a night moisturizer.
What tinted moisturizer do you use? I’ve wanted to find a good one but I have sensitive fair skin.
I have been looking for a good skin routine with great products! Thanks for sharing… I am going to be getting some of these!
These skincare products would be great to start a new routine with!
Totally Agree! I cant wait to try them!!
i use facial cleansers daily in the shower then also some moisturizers when i get out. i sometimes will use some sunscreen in my face makeup too. or a nite time cream for wrinkles i love cq10 products or hemp ones i think they make me look younger
What is CQ10? Is that a skincare product?
CoQ10 works to help your cells remove what’s irritating cells and your skin. Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines: This ingredient helps your body produce collagen and elastin, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines. oops sorry had a typo there it does many other things too though.
Thanks, that’s great to know. Looks like I need to add CoQ10 to my skincare routine!
This skincare product seems easy enough to use. I have been thinking about getting a product for my face, this seems interesting.
Sounds like you don’t have a skincare routine in place. This would be a great place to start.
I like to use a really gentle face wash and then just a rich moisturizer and that seems to help my skin a lot. I try to exfoliate at least one time a week.
Sounds like you could benefit from adding these skincare products to your already awesome routine
I have never heard of this company but their products sound good. I would love to try the eye lash buster. My skin could really use some good nourishment Thank you so much for sharing this. God Bless
People often forget about their eyelashes. This is a great way to help them get healthy and long.
I use a toner every day and a hydrating mask once a week. I like using Pixi products and Clinique.
What is your favorite Pixi skincare product? I’m always looking for new brands to try.
I love the Glow Tonic
I’ll have to check it out!
I use a gentle cleanser when I am not using make-up and moisturizing makeup wipes, to remove makeup. Then I follow up with either hyaluronic acid or retinol and then I usually apply a facial oil. Once or twice a week I use glycolic acid/hyaluronic pads and follow with a super nourishing face cream.
Sounds like you have your skin routine down-pat. Great job!
I have found that very clean skin with the help of a clarisonic device is step one to the best skincare. You will have to use less product too.
I heard great things about that skincare device! I’ll need to invest it in one day.
I dont do to much but use a soap and a moisturizer not doing to much using what i have while were at home.
I hope you mean cleanser and not soap. Soap can be very drying to the skin.
I must say I use soap and water than I use Stridex Medicated Pads and Clearisil that is all I use at the present time and seems to work great
That’s pretty good for a guy! My husband needs to have more of a skincare routine. He’s a work in progress lol.
I moisturize twice daily and remove makeup at night. I also use serums.
What are your favorite kinds of skin serums?
I currently have a day cream and a night cream that I use when ever I think of it. I also have witch hazel. I just need to stick to a routine!
All good things to have in a skincare routine! Just need to stick to it 🙂
I wash my face 2x a day, sometimes 3. I use exfoliating scrub 2x a week. To wash, I use a green tea cleanser. To exfoliate, I either use Derma E’s anti-wrinkle scrub or Cleen Beauty’s Acai scrub. To moisturize, I use grapeseed oil.
I haven’t tried grapeseed oil for my skin. How do you like it? Does it soak in well?
Wash my face everyday. Also, use SPF when going out.
Do you moisturize too? If so, you are on the ball!
I use a tea tree oil cleanser in the morning. I either use a moisturizer or serum and then use sun screen lotion. At night I clean again and moisturize before bed.
That’s a great skincare routine!
I don’t really have a skin routine, I normally just wash my face. Then I like to add a hot facecloth and then a cold facecloth, both sit on my face for about two minutes.
@tisonlyme143
The hot and cloths remind me of a facial!
My skincare routine during the pandemic has been a lot more low key. Less makeup. less product. But, now that I am heading back to the office, I need to ramp it up! Thanks for the great giveaway!
I know what you mean. I haven’t been wearing makeup much at all but I do stay on top of skincare products.
