Create-a-Kids-Photo-Book-to-Remember

It can be often difficult for parents to keep coming up with fun and exciting activities to do with their kids. This can be particularly challenging during times when the children are on a long break from school.

One thing I have done on numerous occasions with my kids is to create a photo book. This is not only a lot of fun for the kids but it can also be a creative and educational task too which makes it even better.

Although, there is an easier way you can create a personalized photo book with the help of Printed Memories photo books. There is still no amount of joy that can replace your bond with your kids while creating the photo books together.

There are a lot of options and possibilities when making a photo book with your children, I have included a few ideas to help you get started:

Art Book

Kids are constantly bringing home new artwork from school which gets pinned to the wall or stuck on the fridge. However, this collection can quickly build up and result in drawings get lost or ripped. You can easily scan these pictures to your computer and then include them in an Art Photo Book, which will mean they can always be remembered. A tip is to include the name and age of the child on each picture in the book.

Cook Book

If your kids are interested in baking or cooking you can help them to create their own cookbook. Include family recipes or your children’s favorite cookie recipe into a photo book along with some nice pictures and you will soon have a complete cookbook.

Story Book

Children have wonderful creative minds and imaginations so why not use this to create an exciting storybook. You can make up a story using pictures the kids have drawn themselves or photos they have taken specifically for this book.

Or why not make the kids the main characters in their very own story and use pictures of friends and family as the other characters in the book.

By including a small bit of text to each picture or photograph you can create a fun storyline.

Grandparents Book

Any grandparent would be more than happy to get a personalized photo book from their grandchild. Simply include some pictures of the grandparents and grandchildren enjoying a day out together or a special occasion.

Some funny or interesting text from the kids will make the book complete. This type of book will prove very popular with the grandparents.

Party Book

A party book is always very popular with children, whether it is based on a Birthday, Halloween, Christmas, or Family party. It is a good way to capture these memories and it allows the children to look back at a particular party and see themselves blowing out the candles or opening a gift.

Hopefully, these ideas will get you started to make your own photo books with your children. There are endless possibilities for a personalized photo book so create a book that suits you and your family.

This is a fun project and the kids will really enjoy seeing the finished book and showing it off to family and friends. Have fun!

These are great ideas. I love making photo books and have made some of our vacations, engagement photos, wedding, and pictures of my dad after he passed away last year.

I need to make more. I love the idea of them especially since I don’t print many pictures these days-they are all on my computer.

I wish all this had been available when my daughter was little…. I would have loved to make photo books for birthdays, christmases and some of the things we did together. Photo books make a great gift too…. I am thinking about doing one for my grandma for Christmas of all of us grandkids.

My MIL likes to make photo albums for weddings and baby showers but people don’t print many pics these days. You have the same idea as us then. I think we are making my husband’s grandma a photobook for Christmas too!
