Disney on a Family Budget, Disney vacation, disney vacation planning, disney vacation tips

Are you planning a trip or a Disney vacation? In case you didn't know, Disney is synonymous with expensive. If Disney is involved, you can be sure there will be a hefty price tag to go along with it. This is a big problem for parents whose little ones are begging to go to the magic kingdom. Here are some great deals that can get you on your way for less:

Travel with Us Deals – 5 Day Disney Package for $199

This site offers package deals for Disney for up to 75% off for five-day stays. That is less than $200 per room for four guests. It can even be upgraded to condominium accommodations.

Each package includes two Disney tickets to your choice of Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, or Blizzard Beach.

Westgate Resort – Disney Vacation Packages

This resort in Orlando offers a 7-day package for just $399. It includes suite accommodations for 4 people with a kitchen area and patio. The kids can swim in the heated outdoor pools and then use the game rooms, play mini-golf, or participate in scheduled events.

Included with all this are two Disney tickets and complimentary transportation to the park. There is so much to do at this resort for kids including kayaking, canoeing, miniature golf, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and even their very own kid’s club.

Disneyland Resort Park – Hopper Ticket

When you purchase this Disney ticket, you can experience all four major Disney Parks in one day. This includes the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. Then, you can choose between all the other parks and visit the ones of your choice for five days.

To upgrade a regular ticket to a Hopper pass is less than $11 per ticket. So, you can choose any resort within Disneyworld to stay at and take advantage of this upgrade.

Orlando Fun Tickets – Discount Disney World Tickets

With the Park Hopper Plus, you can get 5 days at the park for the price of 4 for a cheap Disney vacation package. This is a multi-park package that gives you access the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot all in the same day. Then, you can choose five visits to any of the following parks: Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, or either of the Disney Miniature Golf Courses. All of this starting at $440.

Disney Resort – Caribbean Beach Getaway Package

Within the Epcot resort area in Disney World, you can choose a stay at one of the five villages. It's a beautiful area, surrounded by 45 acres with a lake, direct access to mini-beaches, and nature trails. You can rent bikes or sit by one of seven pools or stroll along the marina. The kids can take a lunch break at the food court while you order table-side dining or relax in one of the several lounges or pool bars.

There is a dedicated children’s pool equipped with large bucket pours, squirt hoses, and smaller water slides. They can also rent pontoons or canopy boats for the lake while adults enjoy some motorized water sports vehicles, sailboats, canoes, or Sea Raycer boats. The main pool area known as Fuentes del Morro offers the kids an adventure-themed water experience with a Spanish fortress, and swashbuckling forts and slides, and water cannons. Parents can even relax in the two spas that seat up to 12 people.

Jet Blue Vacations – POP Century Resort

This deal offers a 4-day stay at this retro-themed resort at Disney World. The themes take you back to the 1950s through to the fads of the 1990s. Your kids can experience activities with yo-yo’s, Play-Doh, rollerblading, and many more fads from the past.

The design of each building and hotel room fits in with the bygone eras including the Petal Pool Bar that harkens back to the flower power of the 60s. The food even has a retro flair but with staples such as pizza, pasta, grilling, and food-to-go as well as fine dining restaurants. All the parks are included in this package at $379 per person.

Plan Your Visit – Customizing Your Disney World Stay

If you’d rather come up with your own plan for your stay at Disney, then visit this site that lets you plan your trip right down to the very last detail. It gives you the updated rates for 2018 on all the possible Disney accommodations, ticket packages, and even gives the rankings for the best week to visit based on crowd sizes and weather from past years. It will also update you on ride closures and special events before you book anything.

For additional budgeting, you may opt to drive down to Disney World instead of incurring an exorbitant expenditure on airplane tickets. So, it is best to be prepared if you plan to have a carload of kids for the drive.
