Meal planning has become the craze these days. Planning boards and tips are popping all over Pinterest yet I can seem to stick to a meal plan. Something always comes up where the plan just doesn't work or the food ends up being too expensive for us. Guess we are the fly by the seat of your pants kind of family when it comes to meals. I tend to just give my husband a few meal choices early in the day and just go with that. I love when he picks Manwich Sloppy Joes. They are so quick and easy to make (not to mention budget friendly)! All you do is brown a pound of ground beef, drain, and stir in a can of your favorite Manwich Sauce. What could be easier?
If you didn't know Manwich makes three canned sauce varieties: Original, Bold, and Thick & Chunky. I've tried all three but my favorite is still the original. The Manwich Bold definitely has a stronger flavor than the original with slight BBQ taste. On the other hand, Manwich Thick & Chunky reminds me a lot of the Original Manwich just with bigger chunks of bell peppers (which I LOVE).
For my Sloppy Joes I like to use half a can of Manwich Bold and half a can of Manwich Thick & Chunky and serve with waffle fries. A tasty meal in under 20 minutes. Great for busy families (with included “kid-stopping” power)!
Not a Sloppy Joe fan or vegetarian? You can also make pastas, dips, casseroles, and more with Manwich. There are no meat products in Manwich sauces which makes it so versatile.
