All my life I've been one of those people that only ever had a zit here or there. I'd put some alcohol on it and it'd go away. The only time I ever had an issue with acne was when I had bangs as a teenager. Boy, did my hair oils wreak havoc on my forehead. Pizza forehead, but at least the bangs hid them. Once I grew my bangs out it was only the occasional pimple from then on. That is until recently.
Back in the spring I decided to go off my birth control. I had been taking birth control a long time unless I was trying to get pregnant. Apparently, it was a huge mistake for my skin. The hormones and my skin have had an awful disagreement. I immediately started breaking out. I tried every cleanser, cream, you named it I've tried it with very little luck. I went even as far as going back on birth control for a few months to see if that would help. It was a no go. Thank God for Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation!!
One of the products I have tried was Elba Naturals Anti Acne Gel. It is a clear gel that you can apply to infected areas a couple times a day. You apply it and then shortly after rinse it off with water. I occasionally left it on all night just to see if it would make a difference. As from the results it may have.
As you can tell from my before and after pictures where a month has passed some fading has occurred. Surprisingly, I also see less forehead lines. Elba Naturals Anti Acne Gel contains mainly natural and organic ingredients like witch hazel, willow bark, clove essential oil, dandelion extract as well as several others. The clove essential oil stands out the most to me in terms of scent. I didn't even know it was in there but that's what I thought this gel smelled like at first sniff. It also contains 2% salicylic acid to really help acne prone skin.
If things keep going as they have been and my acne keeps fading I would highly recommend Elba Naturals Anti Acne Gel
. It is a great addition to any acne fighting regime you might have in place!
