Fun Kids Jacket: #Hoodsbee Review

Winter weather is among us! Have you heard about all the snow in Buffalo!? It’s crazy. This just might be a slight glance into the weather we will be having this winter. I sure hope not though!

With the colder weather comes bundling our kids so they don’t get sick. Recently, I was introduced to an innovative product called Hoodsbee ($40). Hoodsbee is more than just a jacket – it doubles as a pillow and a friend too!

Hoodsbee comes in several different creatures for boys and girls. I got Eyevan The Three-eyed Monster that is made of a polar fleece that’s super soft and comfortable. I love how colorful and all of the detail that goes into each creature. I can feel and see the quality!

Eyevan the three-eyed monster is made in red Polar Fleece with blue 2×1 Cotton/spandex rib cuffs and hem band. The hood is lined with blue Polar Fleece so that it is warm and soft on the inside too.  The orange zipper is a heavy duty, molded plastic and matches the taping around the neck for a clean look and feel. 

The blue and orange arms, spike and horns are also made of Polar fleece and stuffed with toughness (and poly filing). Eyevans unibrow is satin stitch embroidery from end to end. The teeth are felt as well, double layered with a edge stitch and cool raw edge finish. The eyes are double layered as well and accented with a thick hand stitch look embroidery in contrast thread.  The 3 button eyes have red stitching to match the red jacket and make this 3 times cooler to wear.

My son often can’t keep his jacket on in the car because he gets hot so easily. Poor thing just pours sweat. Thankfully now instead of throwing his jacket on the floor he now can fold, roll, and snap his Hoodsbee into a pillow friend. Or on long road trips he now has a toy to play with. I love it!
