With winter fast approaching my children are having to stay indoors more often. They would much rather be outside collecting seeds, hunting for fossils, or capturing creepy crawlies but this is the perfect time of year to kick back and watch a show together.
Kidoodle.TV is a platform that reminds me of Netflix but even more kid friendly. With Kidoodle.TV you get to customize a profile (i.e. color, age, and picture) for each child you have, for up to five children. All of shows are geared toward children of a specific age in which you can select whether or not they can watch a specific show. My son loves outer space so he couldn’t get enough of the National Geographic shows. There are of course a lot less shows than Netflix but there is way more parental control which is awesome.
It is very easy for even very young children to operate, especially on the iPad or an apple device. I love that you can set a time limit on how long they can watch a show for and the kids love that there are no boring commercials they have to sit through.
