Do you love cooking healthy meals but don’t always have the time or patience to prep everything? Many parents take the easy way out when time gets tight. We run to fast food places like they are going out of style. What if you could get organic chef-crafted recipes that take the hassle out of cooking a homemade meal? Green Chef, offers just that, for any diet!
Why You Need Green Chef
It’s extremely hard for parents to juggle work, kids, and then be expected to make a healthy meal at the end of the night. Most of us are just too darn tired. I know I am. Green Chef takes the frustration out of grocery shopping, finding recipes, and even prepping the ingredients.
A lot of other food subscription boxes require a long-term commitment which can be hard to swing for families. There is no subscription or commitment with Green Chef. It’s something you can just test out and see what you think of it without having to worry about a contract. If you fall in love with it like I did, you can reorder. I love that you can skip weeks or cancel at any time, no questions asked!
Recipes To Suit Your Lifestyle
Green Chef even caters to the many diets people have these days. They do everything from the traditional carnivore and omnivore to paleo, vegetarian, vegan, and even gluten-free. They all taste amazingly good and are well balanced.
Take the Sweet and Sour Pork recipe I received from Green Chef. I was able to make sweet and sour pork, quinoa, AND a broccoli edamame salad. Don’t snub your nose at the sound of the broccoli edamame salad, it was actually my favorite thing. The ponzu vinegarette paired perfectly with it!
All of the ingredients were included except cooking oil and salt and pepper. Best part is the exact measurement of the included ingredients were already there. I just had to do some slight chopping and I was good to go!
No Signature Required On Delivery
Green Chef delivers to your door without a signature, so if you are busy, you don’t have to worry about missing a delivery. Everything is nicely packaged in insulated refrigerated boxes.
All of the packaging is eco-friendly. I was able to use some of the jute liner to insulate my outdoor plants from the cold. Also, inside of the insulated boxes are a TON of ice packs that I was able to reuse for my kid’s lunches. A big win in my book!
Sauces and dressings even come in handy dishwasher safe plastic jars that are great to store leftovers in. I love how so much of the packaging material is reusable and helpful without adding to my trash can.
If you are looking for truly organic food that is certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) and are sustainably sourced, Green Chef is for you. This means all of the ingredients you receive have no synthetic pesticides, no genetically modified organisms, no artificial ingredients. and no growth hormones or antibiotics. Everything I received was nice and fresh. Just make sure to use it pretty quickly, we all know produce doesn’t have too long of a shelf life.
Almost everything you received is measured and practically ready to go. A few items may need chopping but as a whole it makes things go WAY faster! Everything is color coded to the step by step picture recipe card so you can grab the ingredients for that particular meal easily.
Giving a home food delivery service a try may sound risky, but Green Chef truly is risk-free. Not only are you not committed to months of service, but you are guaranteed to enjoy the delicious recipes that are easily prepared in around 30 minutes. Choose from the 2-Person Plan (3 dinners a week for 2 people) or the Family Plan (2 dinners a week for a family of 4). With each meal being similar in cost of a restaurant meal, these meals are a busy mom’s lifesaver!
