Why You Should Give Green Contact Lenses a Try (1)

Colored contact lenses are trendy and popular among the younger crowd. However, green is not a favorite color of most people. This is why you seldom see green cars or people wearing a lot of green clothing (except for certain sports fans).

Although, when it comes to eyes, most people love blue or green eyes. If your eyes are brown, you know the feeling of wishing you had green or blue eyes well.

After you purchase green contact lenses, you will wear them as a fashion accessory or as an everyday look. It’s an inexpensive upgrade that has a lot of advantages — let’s check them out!

There's a whole host of reasons why it's a good idea to try green contacts lenses if you've never done it before. Check them out now! Click To Tweet

1. Green Eyes Make an Impression

If you are looking to turn heads, green contacts are a great choice. There are a variety of greens to choose from, so make sure you choose the right shade.

A lot of this depends on the natural color of your eyes. If you have naturally dark eyes, you want to make sure the green you choose won’t be muddle by your iris.

However, there are plenty of lovely colors to choose from, like apple green, gemstone green, pine green, and more that will definitely make an impression.

2. Green Contact Lenses Can Help Athletes

Green contact lenses can help you overcome glare and see the color green better. For instance, if you play tennis, wearing green contacts can make the ball seem more defined and pop because of its color.

This is extremely helpful for athletes and makes them perform better. Think about it — depth perception would be better because of the contrast and reduced glare.

This works with a variety of colored contact lenses, not just green. Ask your eye doctor about ‘sports tint’ and see if it’s right for you.

3. Introduces a Nice Twist to your Dark Eyes

There’s a good chance you have brown eyes. After all, it is the most common eye color. You may be tired of having dark eyes and want a change.

Green contact lenses will do that and will make your eyes the star of your face. In case you didn’t know, green eyes are scarce, making you look more exotic.

Why You Should Give Green Contact Lenses a Try

You can purchase green-colored contact lenses with or without a prescription.

The popularity of colored contact lenses is increasing. People want to alter their appearance, and this is an easy and cheap way to do it.

Going from dark eyes to green can lighten up your overall look and make your eyes pop—something you’ve probably always wanted.

Who wouldn’t want striking eyes?

Contacts are very safe and easy to use. I’ve been wearing lenses for nearly 25 years now and have not had any problems. Just make sure to follow their care instructions, and you’ll be golden.

Currently, I have clear contacts because I have horrible eyesight. However, I think I am due for a change, though, and need to get color lenses again. Wish me luck!

What colored eyes would you like to have?

I’ve never tried colored lenses but I would! I have hazel eyes and I think more green would be amazing.

I am with you – my eyes look more green or blue sometimes. They are hazel but I’d love them to be green more often too.

Years go when I got my first pair of HARD contact lenses they had clear or colors to chose from. I have green eyes already but after thinking about it and looking I got the green. Because if I dropped it I could find the color easier then a clear lenses. And believe me I played hunt and seek a lot.
