You are driving down the road, your hands drumming on the steering wheel to your favorite song. Fresh coffee is sitting in the cup holder next to you. You remember shutting off the coffee maker as you grabbed your keys and headed out the door.

Uh oh! However, you can’t remember if you pressed your garage door opener, as you backed out of your driveway. Worry no more, having MyQ® Home Bridge will ease your mind, as it allows you to check the status of your garage door, no matter where you are.

Perfect Features For Your Home

chamberlain

MyQ® Home Bridge is a device that you can install either in your garage or anywhere nearby if it is within range of your WI-FI.  It has many features, including alerting you when your garage door opens and the ability to schedule times for when you want the garage door to open or close.

It even has the capabilities to turn the lights off and on with fun lighting accessories. It also is compatible with technologies, like Google Assistant, and even Apple HomeKit™. Apple HomeKit™ allows you to use Siri®, so a simple voice command is all it would take to open your garage door.

There are many smart devices on the market today. However, most of them have one main flaw – the app situation.

Typically smart devices have their own app. That means if you have multiple smart home devices you have to use several apps to control them. This can be quite annoying not to mention time-consuming. But since the MyQ® Home Bridge allows you to use technology like the Apple HomeKit™, I can control many of my smart devices from one easy to use app. I love it!

Great For Everyone!

MyQ® Home Bridge is a great device for a variety of people. It is even handy for those that are handicapped. It will make accessing the garage door easier because you will not even have to get up or move.

Simply use the device from anywhere in your home, to open the garage door when visitors arrive, and use it to then close the door afterward.

Perfect For The Everyday On-The-Go Family!

closed garage

It is also great for families! The ability to schedule the garage door to close after the kids leave for school, and after they get off the bus and inside is a huge stress reliever. You will no longer have to worry if you will make it home in time because the MyQ® Home Brigde will be your own personal assistant. It will close the door when you aren’t there to remind your kids to do so.

If you don’t remember whether you closed the garage door before you left for the day, simply check the status of your device. There have been so many times where I panicked because we left for a long trip and I wasn’t sure if I closed the garage door. This is no longer an issue.

The MyQ® Home Bridge will help you stay connected with your home while away. There are no monthly fees, and it is compatible with both Android and iPhone users. You know, there are a lot of things in life that we have to decide if we really need them or not. The MyQ® Home Bridge is not something I’m willing to go without. It has been a lifesaver for me in so many ways, which I appreciate. I worry enough, and this helps take a lot of the insecurities of owning a garage, out of my life. If you don’t own the MyQ® Home Bridge, you need to!

I’m always a little apprehensive about wifi based home products because I’ve heard they can be easily hacked. However, they are really useful for families. It would be nice to be able to ensure your garage door is always closed and will opened for when the kids come home.

It’s not as easy to hack these types of things as people think. Not many people walking around are tech genius enough to pull off that level of a hack so I don’t worry much about that. I feel it’s easier to break into my garage when I’m not home than it is for them to hack my wifi based technology. 🙂
