A delicious dessert bar with caramelly walnuts and pecans atop a buttery shortbread crust. It's a Fall favorite in this house!
In this house, we love nuts — pecans, walnuts, peanuts, cashews, almonds. I even love pistachios. If it's a nut someone in this house probably likes it. That's why I decided to whip up something featuring two of my favorite nuts — walnuts and pecans.
Plus it's the Fall and that's typically harvest time for most nuts. That means fresher nuts will be popping up in stores. YES!
Not to mention, I've been dying to make something with this most amazing honey since I was introduced to it — Manuka Honey by Pacific Resources International. This honey isn't like anything you've tried before, it's better!

I've never experienced such thick honey before — like caramel thick. It's AMAZING and pairs perfectly with nuts. These Honey Walnut Pecan Bars are similar to my Caramel Pecan Pie Bars, just nuttier and have that yummy honey note.
For anyone who loves nuts and honey — this recipe is for you. It would make an excellent Thanksgiving treat! OR, you could wrap them up for a tasty Christmas gift too! No one can say no to these Pecan Bars 🙂
Personally, I think they taste better the day after they are made.
SO go ahead whip up a batch of this DELICIOUS Honey Walnut Pecan Bars for tomorrow — your family won't mind 😉
