Klaxoon: interactive presentation to help promote learning
Klaxoon is a brand new instrument designed to engage students when presenting, whether in class or virtually. This is a big undertaking, as it’s an everyday problem for teachers!
Redefining the concept of presentation software
Klaxoon is an application that will revolutionize the way that presentation software is used. In reality, it’s a web-based platform that allows the insertion of activities within the presentation. Thus, making Klaxoon unique.
It is easy to integrate different activities like polling or activities requiring students to participate using their electronic devices. This is one of the fundamental concepts of Klaxoon that students can access the app on any device.
A Meeting Revolution Meeting Revolution
Klaxoon has revolutionized how organizations harness the potential of their teams by providing solutions that tackle one of the most significant teamwork issues: making meetings productive.
For instance, in 2015, the Klaxoon platform led the revolution with an advanced SaaS platform that includes modern tools to enhance every type of meeting.
The service has grown to include the Meeting Board, which creates the largest digital whiteboard projected in meetings.
It allows you to share ideas and collaborate using the whiteboard interface. For example, you can create sticky notes, add text, insert images, move objects around, and even start an audio or video chat from there.
The online version permits up to 1000 people to connect in a room or remotely, in either synchronous or asynchronous modes.
For locations where the internet connection is not sufficient or to teach in the field (for instance, on field trips), Klaxoon is also accessible offline. You can purchase the Klaxoon box that creates an individual Wi-Fi network that allows up to 40 users to connect.
Klaxoon’s Popularity is Growing
The service is currently on an upswing. The company claims to have customers in 120 countries, with 1 million monthly active users. So,the good news? The cost of a subscription is only $19 per month.
However, subscribers can invite other members to a conference using the service, and it doesn’t require users to pay. Customers are Toyota, Dior, L’Oreal, Johnson & Johnson, Air France, Accenture, and Marriot.
Its success helped it get the $50 million of venture capital back in May, bringing its total investment to more than $55 million. The company has 150 employees and plans to use the latest funds to hire another 100 employees and open the New York City office to help it achieve its international goals.
