Lancôme is one of my favorite cosmetic brands. I LOVE their Définicils High Definition Mascara! It does wonders to my long eyelashes. So to say the least I am always open to trying more of their wonderful products.
A month and a half or so ago She Speaks and Lancôme came to me with an offer I just couldn’t refuse – to try Lancôme’s DreamTone Customized Skin Tone Correcting Serum ($98). I jumped on this opportunity as fast as I could! I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s Lancôme!!
Being a person that has been plagued with a blotchy skin tone, thanks to my pregnancy with Big Bug, I was so happy to hear that Lancôme’s DreamTone is formulated to help reduce such imperfections. Over time Lancôme’s DreamTone can make your skintone more even by reducing the appearance of dark spots and color imperfections.
What I Loved About Lancôme Dreamtone
First off, I love the bottle! It’s super cool. It James Bond-ly twists up to reveal the spout. I just thought it was so neat when compared to regular pump bottles. And it’s in a hot pink and silver color theme which just screams Lancôme. Love!
I also loved the smell. It has that high dollar, you know this is formulated by highly educated doctors, lovely smell. Smells like something that your face deserves to be lathered in.
I have been using Lancôme Dreamtone 1 for nearly four weeks (4 weeks is tomorrow), twice a day, underneath my moisturizer. Lancôme Dreamtone comes in 3 customized serums especially made for your skin tone: 1- Fair (I’m fair of course), 2 – Medium, and 3 – Dark. In Lancôme’s 8 week study of Dreamtone 72% of women felt like they could bare their naked skin tone because there was such an improvement.
I think my face looks pretty good. Especially since the winter weather loves to wreak havoc on my skin. What do you think?
How Many Stars Would I Give Lancôme Dreamtone?
I would give Lancôme Dreamtone 4 out of 5 stars. I loved everything about this product except the price. At $98 for 1.3 fl oz. bottle that’s a bit of a burden on the pocketbook. Although some people would say beauty is priceless and if you want results it’s worth the price.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary product from SheSpeaks/Lancôme to facilitate this review. All thoughts 100% my own.
