Back in October we were supposed to go camping with the scouts but unfortunately my son caught a stomach bug the day we were supposed to leave. It ruined the whole weekend and following week. I’m still trying to recover mentally from it. I’m a emetophobic for the most part.
Anyway, we had been looking forward to this camping trip. We were all prepared. We had bought a tent, air mattresses, the works – that now just sit in our garage. The next time we get the chance to go camping we will be even more prepared with our Live Infinitely Double Hammock. I will make sure we find a good camp site with trees and hang this baby up. For now though it works great on backyard trees or I could hang it with an indoor hanging kit if I want to get fancy. My kids would love if it was indoors!
I love this hammock especially because it comes with a nautical grade nylon rope, long tree straps with a stainless steel lashing ring, and carabiner. Not all hammocks come with these things and let me tell you it’s a pain to hang a hammock without them. You almost have to be a knot expert. Not to mention a simple knot doesn’t give you the confidence that the hammock will actually hold you up. I have none of these problems with this hammock. It’s simple to setup and can hold my husbands weight (and mine too if I want, it’s a two person hammock!).
Plus I love that the tree straps are really long. It gives you more choice of places to set the hammock up. You aren’t confined to trees the are on top of each other with ll’ straps!
The hammock itself is weather resistant nylon that is very compact when put into it’s bag and super light too. It measures 9′ 10″ long by 6′ 6″ wide but folds into a 6″x 8″ pouch when put away! Making it super easy to take on a hike and setup to relax for a bit!!
If this hammock gets dirty (which it will) it can be thrown in the wash without fear of fading or tearing. It’s a great hammock that I would recommend to any outdoor lover or someone that wants to make their room magical!
