#LiveLifeOutside With TruGreen (#IC and #ad)

The best part of the cold weather practically being gone is being able to go outdoors whenever we want! The cabin fever can subside and we now can enjoy the sun. With the sun shining and all the possibilities of the outdoors I just feel happier, don’t you?

Once the weather warms up you can expect my family to be outdoors playing sports, going to the playground, and spending LOTS of time at Schlitterbahn Water Park. At home we like to play catch in the backyard and let the kids goof off a bit. They can take all those dreaded balls I hate inside and play with them outside where they belong!

TruGreen believes that by using their lawn maintenance service to get your yard top notch will in turn help you spend some much needed time outdoors. Did you know 46% of all Americans surveyed by TruGreen said if they had a greener, more maintained and healthier lawn, they would spend more time outside. I whole heardly believe this to be true.

Have you noticed when you’re yard is in some desperate need of TLC with dying grass and weeds you are less likely to spend time out there? People want to spend time in nice places this includes yards. I know when my yard is a muck I’m definitely not going to be in the mood to be playing in sticker burrs or pokey weeds. It just doesn’t sound fun at all!

To help our new sod that was just laid in March we’ve fertilized and sprayed weed killer twice. It’s looking pretty good so far but the real test will come this summer with the 100 degree heat. If it looks good then then we know we are doing something right.

By having a greener, healthier lawn you will be able and actually WANT to spend more time outdoors. What a concept in this day and age with everyone being tethered to one electronic device or another.

With a pleasant oasis in your backyard you’ll spend more quality time with family and friends – being more connected – playing ball or grilling out rather than being connected to an electronic device.
