You could even turn money-making into a family affair. Look at ways your money can work for you, too. Here are a few money making schemes that won’t take you away from your family for hours on end!
Try Money Making Schemes Like Investment
Admittedly, investment does involve a little online research, but that’s only in the beginning. The excellent thing about this choice is that it takes care of itself after you’ve made the initial payment.
There is the downside that you could lose your money. Investing in the right place will make it much more likely that your money comes back to you.
Yard Sale
Holding a yard sale can be a lot of fun that the whole family can get involved with. We all have things we don’t need. Take time to collect all the things you don’t use. If you have enough for a yard sale, don’t hesitate.
Yard sales can be a lucrative money-making scheme. If you’re struggling to find things to sell, take a look at your kid’s old toys and game collections. Kids grow out of things quickly, and they’re sure to have things they haven’t played in years.
Think too about old jewelry and clothes that might be at the bottom of your wardrobe. Don’t get sentimental about this. If you haven’t worn it in years, it needs to go!
The same goes for old junker cars. If you have a makeshift car lot in your backyard (like my in-laws) filled with broken down cars, get rid of them. Better yet—sell them to junkyards that buy cars and get some extra cash.
Sell Photographs To Magazines
Take a little time to get familiar with which publications accept photography submissions. Take note, too, of the payment offered. Don’t make the mistake of giving away your photographs for free!
Landscapes and artistic shots tend to sell better than family portraits. Look at pictures already published, and have fun taking some of your own!
Baking Sale
If you haven’t got enough to sell, you could always throw a baking sale instead. This gives you the perfect excuse to spend time baking with your children.
Don’t be too exacting about the quality of the kid’s cooking. Set them up their own table, and let them sell things they’ve made themselves. The sense of achievement will be well worth it.
Set up a table yourself and sell bits you’ve baked, too. Let your friends and family know it’s happening and make a day of it. Ask them to bring their friends along, too. You’re sure to have a fantastic time!
