I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for First Response. I received product samples as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

first response pregnancy test

Pregnancy tests have changed a lot over the years. When I was first trying to conceive my go to pregnancy test was actually First Response. It was more expensive than the dollar store tests my friends tended to gravitate towards but I've always been into quality. A rinky dinky test didn't interest me at all no matter how cheap it was.

First Response had me when they announced you could get positive pregnancy test as early as 3 days before your missed period. This is everything to sometime who is actively trying to get pregnant.

My husband and I tried over a year and a half after our miscarriage before we became pregnant again. So needless to say we were invested and seeing a positive pregnancy test was our whole world.

Pregnancy test technology is much more advanced these days. First Response Early Detection Pregnancy Tests now can detect hCG (the pregnancy hormone) as early as 6 days before the day of your missed period. That's nearly a week!

Any women that is desperately trying to get pregnant absolutely despises the two week wait. The two weeks after ovulation to their period. But being able to take a FDA approved pregnancy test at any time of day almost a full week before missing their period is priceless!

During the two week wait women tend to over analyze every twinge and symptom that might mean they are pregnant. Asking their partners things like “My boobs seem bigger, right?”. It's exhausting and nerve wrecking but seeing two pink lines that let you know yes or no within 3 minutes and that is over 99% accurate the day of your expected period lets you go forward with the answer. Whether yes or no, you know the truth, and can do what needs to be done.

First Response has tried to make every element of this process as easy as possible for us. They have even taken the original flat test stick that I used to use and gave it a curved design. This makes taking pregnancy tests easier with a longer handle that fits your hand and a 50% wider tip. That and the single easy-to-read results window allows for more control and less mess. Kudos, to them because no one is a fan of peeing on sticks or in cups. The less chance of pee splatter the better I say. This design helps tremendously with that!

You can purchase First Response Early Result Pregnancy Tests nearly everywhere – all major drugstores, mass and grocery stores for $8.99 – $15.99. Trust me buying this test will be one of the best things you ever did and when you do get those two pinks lines you'll know what the best moment ever feels like!
