Fun in the Sun with NomNomNow

People probably think we are a little pet crazy. We have four female siamese mixed cats ranging in age from one to five years old.

These ladies run the house and we are merely their faithful servants.

nomnomnow

nomnomnow

Then there is our one-year-old border collie pup, Oreo. She’s always smiling and just wants to make us happy.

nomnomnow

nomnomnow

Oh and not to mention, the fish (some of which just had babies), the hamsters and their babies, or the guinea pigs my son wants to get this summer.

We love all types of animals as you can tell. In my opinion, a home is not complete without a pet, but people often forget just how much of a commitment a pet really is.

You have to care for her just like you would any other member of your family. That means she needs the best of everything including food. The sun is shining but is your pet’s coat?

Introducing NomNomNow

NomNomNow is a premium fresh pet food delivery service that is specifically customized to your pet’s weight goals. After entering your pet’s specs on their easy to use website — before you know it — perfectly pre-portioned, fresh homemade real food will arrive at your door.

And, when they say ‘fresh’ they mean fresh. Their food is made to order and delivered within days of making it so it’s never frozen. It is made with restaurant-quality ingredients that you can literally see.

Each packet has the perfect amount of calories for your pet.

Veterinarian Formulated

NomNomNow’s expert, Justin Shmalberg DVM, just happens to be the leading veterinary nutritionist in the United States. He believes good nutrition is the best way to prevent chronic diseases in our pets.

And, to me, that makes complete sense. A healthy diet is fundamental to anyone’s (including our pet’s) overall health. Typically, the healthier you eat the healthier you are, right?

Benefits of a Fresh Diet During Summer

Improved skin and coat. Due to the great balance of essential fatty acids and oils in NomNomNow, your pet’s skin and coat will be shinier, softer, and overall healthier than ever. That means your pet won’t be suffering from itchy or dry skin which can be particularly annoying in the summer heat.

More energy. Heat can be very draining. That’s why it’s great that NomNomNow is easier for your pet to digest. The more nutrients she can absorb from her food the more energy she will have.

Plus your pet will be more excited to eat in general. As temperatures rise, pet appetites often decrease but NomNomNow brings back your pet’s excitement about food despite the heat.

Better overall mood and health. NomNomNow is free of preservatives, fillers, and never frozen. So with every bite, your pet will be getting the right mix of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and carbs. This helps keep your pet’s weight down and her immune system strong and healthy.

Why We Loved NomNomNow

Healthy and convenient. Most people are lazy. Just like fast food is more convenient and easier than making a homemade meal so is buying store bought kibble for our pets. Making a homemade meal whether for humans or pets takes time. Time a lot of us just don’t have.

You’ve heard the saying ‘fresh is best’ and this means for our pets too. Thankfully, NomNomNow makes it so easy for your pets to get the best, fresh food and you don’t even have to make it. Order it weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly with free shipping.

For cats and dogs. NomNomNow provides fresh food for dogs and cats. So many companies solely focus on dogs which is a bummer. We have four cats that we absolutely adore and we are so glad that they now have a company that is also thinking of them.

A variety of recipes. We received a variety pack for dogs (Heartland Beef Mash, Chicken Chow-Wow, Porkalicious Potluck, and Tasty Turkey Fare) and a variety pack for cats (Chicken Chow-Meow and Flavorful Fish Feast). Don’t you love the names?

nomnomnow

As soon as, I placed NomNomNow in a bowl all of my animals were intrigued. They started sniffing around trying to figure out what that amazing smell was.

And, I have to admit it didn’t turn my nose up as some other pet foods can.

nomnomnow

Oreo’s first impression was that of any dog — she gobbled it straight down. No hesitation just flat out gobbling — she loved it. Oreo can be a picky eater too especially when it comes to kibble.

I often have to ‘doctor’ it up with wet foods and water (or convince her the cat is going to eat it) otherwise the ants get to it before she does.

nomnomnow

nomnomnow

However, with NomNomNow, based on her size, Oreo received a full bag of NomNomNow plus her current kibble twice a day.

This was perfect for us. I already was used to mixing her food and this is way healthier for her.

nomnomnow

The cats were a bit pickier than Oreo, but NomNomNow gives some wonderful suggestions on how to transition cats to new food on their website.

nomnomnow

nomnomnow

nomnomnow

While the food takes some time transition to the cats had no problems eating up NomNomNow Jerky Treats right away.

Literally, they were trying to break into the bag and I had to hide it from them. Every time I turned around, they were over there trying to chew through the bag.

nomnomnow

nomnomnow

nomnomnow

If you consider yourself a pet parent, NomNomNow is for you.

They are the only pet food company that pre-portion meals specific for the pet and delivers fresh. If you have questions, they have answers and is a brand that I can say I honestly trust.

I feed fur baby homemade food. I throw some meat (chicken, turkey, beef, organ meats), a few veggies, a little fruit and a carbohydrate source (rice, pasta, beans) in the crock pot and cook it on low for 6 to 8 hours. He is a chihuahua so that will feed him for a week or two. I freeze individual portions for him. At feeding time I add a vitamin/mineral supplement. I keep him healthy by keeping him at a healthy weight, making sure he gets enough exercise and feeding him a balanced, nutritious diet

I had a dog, Desirae, for many many years. She was about a year old when I first got her, and she always ate Iams Dog Food. That’s what she was used to, so I just never changed brands. As she got older, I knew I wanted to get another puppy, and I wanted Desirae to be around to help with training. She is now in heaven, but I see her in the new puppy constantly! Groot is just over 2 now, and has also always ate the same food, Iams. I always worry about changing his food, as it can cause problems. But over the past year or so, I’ve read and heard SO MUCH about fresh food and all its benefits for dogs, that I wanted to slowly introduce more of it into my dogs diet. This company seems to provide all you need in an easy, convenient package. Must try!!

Feeding good dog and cat food will save you and your pet from many medical issues, always consult with your vet about the proper foods that will work best for the particular pet. Feeding a combination of wet food (which helps hydration) and dry food will help with any mouth teeth issues that may occur. In addition to using good pet food exercise is important!

We lost our dog a few years ago, but we used to buy her dog food at Target. As she got older, we would buy softer food to make it easier for her to chew. I didn’t know much about dog nutrition back then, but really want to learn more before we add another pet to our family.

We have 3 dogs, so the food bill gets expensive. We give ours half dry food (premium, usually) and half fresh (leftover meat, veggies, gravy). We had 2 dogs live to be 16 years old.

I used to think – we don’t have a pet to feed, but we now have a leopard gecko named Sunny as of last week. All he was fed is mealworms. We just started giving him small crickets too.

A student didn’t want their gecko anymore. I’m allergic to anything furry or feathery, so we took the gecko home.

I usually feed our dog the brand that is sold at Aldi’s, he seems to like it. We keep him healthy by getting his shots and regular vet visits.

My dog doesn’t eat kibble anymore and I often make his dinner for him. I would love to try this as it would definitely be more convenient and I love the ingredients.

A fresh diet would be great for an aging dog. They often need a change at that point in life to keep things interesting foodwise for them.
