You probably think I am going to say something cool like “Best Places to Eat a Hamburger” or “Best Family Vacation Spots Ever”. Sorry, to burst your bubble guys, while San Antonio is completely awesome, it is also in top five most challenging places to live with spring allergies this year. Lucky us!

I can believe it too! Just looking around the parking lot at my local Target, you can tell who parks their car in the garage and who does not. Those that do not (me) have a lovely yellow dusting of pollen covering their cars.

This time of year my boys start sneezing. Seasonal allergies can affect their sleep and energy levels making it harder to concentrate at school. It totally annoys them too!

Just because the air here is filled with allergens during the spring, that doesn't mean we have to hide indoors. It's beautiful outside and we want to be out there enjoying life, especially my kiddos.

For us, spring means LOTS of baseball and scavenger hunt nature walks – the boys are always looking for neat rocks or critters to catch. It drives me crazy finding random rocks around the house, but they love their “treasure”. It is WAY better than creepy crawlies running around the house!

One of my best tools to keep the kids out and about despite their allergies is Children’s Claritin®. Since I don't want my kids cooped up behind a screen all day, Children’s Claritin® is a must when allergies strike. It helps give my children 24-hour, non-drowsy allergy relief. You know, so they can actually enjoy life with less symptoms like a runny nose, sneezing, or itchy, watery eyes getting in their way.

If your children suffer from allergies like mine do, go ahead and grab Children’s Claritin® in Target's healthcare section near the pharmacy. Right now you can save 5% when you purchase Claritin® using the Cartwheel offer. Visit this link to learn more.

(OMG, Kids! San Antonio is in the top FIVE Cities!!) I can relate to this good reading article for sure. My third oldest grown son has suffered with seasonal allergies since he was a little boy. He was tested at age five and one of his biggest allergies is grass. He still suffers to this day at age 32.
