Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor
I come from a family where almost everyone over the age of 50 has high blood pressure. My dad has high blood pressure and takes meds to keep it under control. My grandfather has high blood pressure, has had heart surgery, and a few strokes. I think my grandmother also has high blood pressure, but I'm not exactly sure on that one. Then there is my mom who passed away from alcoholism and my grandmother who passed from Alzheimer's. I believe they also had issues with high blood pressure but that was probably due to their other problems. I have also had experiences with high blood pressure although it was preeclampsia and was a pregnancy induced problem. Thanks Big Bug! I was on two different kinds of blood pressure medications then. Not fun considering I was only 22 at the time.

So needless to say it's probably a good idea for me to regularly check my blood pressure – just in case. I recently had the opportunity to try out the Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor. Let me tell you, it's pretty awesome! It talks to you which is just amazing.

This blood pressure monitor comes in a compact, hard case and conveniently straps to your wrist instead of your upper arm making it easier for a person to take their own blood pressure. I often have trouble with blood pressure monitors that strap to the upper arm because my arm is so little. I had no problem whatsoever using the Ozeri Digital Blood Pressure Monitor on my small wrist.

It is simple to set the date, time, and users with just the click of a couple buttons. The Ozeri CardioTech Blood Pressure Monitor can also store 90 blood pressure readings for up to two users.

Back to the amazing talking to you part. The Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor voice guides you through taking your blood pressure. In the instruction manual there are diagrams showing you the correct way to position your arm, hand, and wrist while taking your blood pressure. You are supposed to have your wrist/hand level with your heart. This tech savvy blood pressure monitor can tell when your hand is not level with your heart and will tell you to raise or lower it till it is. So cool. Then when you are done taking your blood pressure it will tell you if you have a normal or abnormal reading according the current hypertension guidelines.

After taking my initial blood pressure reading, I decided to bounce and jog around the room for a bit just to get the Ozeri Blood Pressure Monitor to say something else. And to see if my blood pressure went up. The first time I took my blood pressure it was 124/83 with a pulse rate of 75. After bouncing around the room it was 135/95 with a pulse rate of 77 which the monitor confirmed this was an abnormal reading.

I have reviewed several other products from Ozeri (WeightMaster Digital Bathroom Scale, The Green Earth Pan, and a Stainless Steel Earth Pan) and they all have been great! The Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor is no exception. I think it is a must have for those that need to take their blood pressure regularly. For just under $45 you too can have a blood pressure monitor that TALKS. Great for those that don't have the best eye sight. To purchase the Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor please visit them on Amazon below.

Do you have high blood pressure?
