One thing I have noticed over the years is that older men are HARD to buy for. They typically have everything they want or can buy it themselves. This makes coming up with a thoughtful, useful gift very difficult. This year in our family Christmas exchange I got my father. He’s a pretty high tech guy for his age but there’s nothing in that realm I could afford or even contemplate what would actually be useful. I could also just throw a gift card at him but to me that’s just like throwing cash at his feet and he has been known to regift gift cards. Luckily, I had the help from Urban Farmhouse this year.
Urban Farmhouse is an Etsy shop that focuses on rustic personalized gifts. I LOVE the whole rustic theme!! It’s what I’m going for in my house. They are the perfect place to shop for bridesmaids, groomsmen, or any part of a wedding party. Heck, items like my Personalized Craft Beer Glass Set make a wonderful Christmas or birthday present for that hard to shop for man in your life too. I love adding personalization to items. The giftee will have no doubt the items was thoughtfully made just for them.
I was able to customize my set of 4 pilsner beer glasses with whatever name I wished (you can customize each individual glass with different names too!). There were also several other designs I could of chose as well as so many other types of glasses. These glasses are very sturdy and have a nice weight to them. Not cheap dollar store glasses here!
The pilsner design is carefully cut with a laser beam for a permanent etched finish. This makes each glass dishwasher safe making me have no fear of these lovely glasses becoming depersonalized and have no special maintenance which I love. Maintenance free is ideal!
