Simple Mocktails For Kids
As a wife and mom, my family’s health is very important to me. I am always looking for things that we can do to maintain and improve our health. We eat healthy foods and we are very active. We are teaching our sons to live a healthy lifestyle now, while they are still very young so that it becomes a lifelong habit.
For a while now I have been hearing a lot about the health benefits of probiotics but my boys haven’t learned to swallow pills. All the brands of probiotics that I have come across have been in pill form so up until now we haven’t had a chance to try them.
So, I was super excited and jumped at the chance when I was given the opportunity to try Dr. Mercola’s Complete Probiotic Powder Packets. They are single serving packets of organic raspberry-flavored powder that are easy to use and convenient for everyday use even while traveling.
If you haven’t heard about Dr. Mercola’s Complete Probiotic Powder Packets they are available for adults and children and so easy to take. You just mix a packet with 8 ounces of water or juice. They taste great and are the perfect way to help support overall wellness and digestive health.
Dr. Mercola’s Complete Probiotic Powder Packets contain 10 strains of bacteria; 70 billion “good” bacteria in each serving for adults and 10 billion “good” bacteria in each serving for kids (Dr. Mercola believes this to be the optimal dose for most children). These “good” bacteria include the super-strain lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1, and they promote an ideal environment for the growth of “gut-friendly” bacteria. This is great for gut health!
The packets are perfect for my boys to add to their bottles of water and I sometimes will add it to their juice or a breakfast smoothie but I wanted to make them something fun and different. I decided that since my boys both love the yummy raspberry flavor, I would add another fruit flavor that they both love and I sure came up with a winner! These fun and tasty Raspberry Pomegranate Mocktails were a hit with me and my boys (including the hubby) and I am sure that you are totally going to love them too! The probiotics add more fizz which the kids LOVED!!
Dr. Mercola’s Complete Probiotic Powder Packets help to support immune system health, assist in the breaking down and removal of harmful toxins in the body, and help maintain normal blood pressure levels. They are perfect for adults who have difficulty swallowing pills and are convenient to carry because they don’t need refrigeration.
One box of Complete Probiotics Packets for Adults (30 per box) retails for $41.97, and one box of Complete Probiotics Packets for Kids retails for $29.97.
