How To Get An Emotional Support Animal Letter
It is common to see people keeping mammals like cats and dogs as pets at home. Some people even have a penchant for the avian species. These creatures become nearly indispensable for some women and men.
For these people, a dog or cat is not just a pet, they look at them as a source of strong emotional support. Several studies have shown, that having pets can help those people cope with a number of chronic mental conditions and disorders. Like stress and bipolar disorder, for example. Dogs are often the most helpful in these kinds of situations.
Where Can Emotional Support Animals Go
While having any breed of dog as Emotional Support Animal or ESA can be extremely helpful, legal documentation may be required to take them certain places.
You may want to take your dog to a doctor’s appointment or to dinner but without an emotional support dog letter, your canine friend may be denied entry. You may also face hurdles renting houses or apartments without this document.
Even with documentation, I’d rather be safe than sorry especially when flying. That’s why I still bring along a pet carrier (just in case). I’ve done a lot of research on airline approved pet carriers and I have to be honest, I prefer the soft-lined versions the most. They seem more comfortable and a lot of them roll which is something my husband greatly appreciates. You know — since he’s the one that deals with the bags 😉
What Is An ESA Letter
It is basically a declaration by a certified and professional psychologist or therapist. The document certifies that the holder is afflicted with certain medical conditions and to cope with the condition, he or she would benefit from an Emotional Support Animal.
When you possess this letter landlords and commercial establishments cannot deny entry to your ESA companion.
Easy Way To Obtain ESA Letter
Unfortunately, your primary care provider may not be willing or able to give you this letter. In some instances, a doctor that’s not familiar with how an ESA can help people may refuse to issue the letter altogether. Some doctors do not believe that animals can offer mental support to a human on a long-term basis, sad as it sounds. Thankfully, nowadays there are online referral agencies that can help you get an ESA letter from veteran medical professionals without any hassles.
Getting an Emotional Support Animal letter is no longer a problem when you have the right referral agency in your corner. All you need to do is take their online tests and let a medical professional evaluate and review your case. The letter gets issued promptly and in case you are deemed ineligible, you get refunded.
Resolving Your Doubts
Not only do the online ESA referral service providers help you obtain an emotional support animal letter fast, they enable you to defend your pet’s rights and your own. You will be able to evade hassles too.

Thanks so much for the information . A friend of mine was just talking about this the other day. This will help me to let him know these things as what he may need to do and how. He is interested in inquiring about one of these pets.
Does he need support from an animal?
Thank you for posting this because I’m wanting to register my dog, Holly as a ESA. I have PTSD, depression, anxiety, and if that ain’t enough, I began having awful seizures twelve years ago. Needless to say, I want to register my sweet Holly; and I’m grateful to you for publishing this article on your site for me to find. ‘Nuf said. 😘💕
I hope your sweet girl, Holly, can help you out!
Thanks so much, I was going to do this with my dog. I have medical conditions and he is right there with me when I need him. He gets my husband if I fall or need help. He can sense when I might fall and gives me a look so I stop and sit down. He’s 15 years old now and we take him everywhere we go. But we just decided against it. He doesnt’ like going in stores and such. But I will pin this for later if I need it.
I’m so happy to hear your dog helps you through your medical conditions
