I don’t know about you but I probably spend way too much money on my cell phone bill. Of course we don’t have the cheapest plan out there….with those plans you can’t do much with your phone – AT ALL. You can barely talk on them without going over your minutes. We want to be able to talk and text without worrying about how many minutes we are using. We definitely want to be able to check our email without constantly thinking “How much data is this using?”. If we had a plan where we had to worry about data and minute usage the cell phone companies would LOVE us because we’d be racking up outrageous bills.
I just learned about Republic Wireless and so far I am in love with them! With Republic Wireless for $19 a month you get unlimited data, talk, and text plan. Sounds awesome, right? Want more awesomeness? You can all of that without contracts, limits, and overages.
Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Republic Wireless can do all of this for such a low price because they use Hybrid Wi-Fi Calling. Basically they use the internet for EVERYTHING instead of using a cell network. I love their saying “Anything a cell network can do, the Internet can do better and cheaper”.
With $19 a month plan you get to use the $199 Motorola DEFY™ XT Smartphone. It does everything I would want my cell phone to do and I currently have the most popular phone out there. It’s all jazzed up with the normal cameras and apps and such.
I think I am totally going to try Republic Wireless once my current contract is up. It would be a huge money saver for our family. Might as well try it if it does all the same things my current service does and costs WAY LESS. That would make it a great choice for a child or young adult’s first smartphone too! Do you think your cell phone bill is too high? Would you want to save money on it? What do you look for in a cell phone plan?
