Kids are often very anxious and nervous about the first day of school. There are often thoughts of “Will my teacher be nice?”, “Will my friends be in my class”, and all sorts of other worries but a student welcome gift can help ease those fears.
My son received this note and bag of goodies when he met his teacher. This was a not just a new teacher for him but a brand new school and state so you can imagine what he must of been feeling. He really liked this student welcome gift and wants me to keep the note in his memory box. FYI, the Smarties aren’t pictured because he chomped them down his trapper 🙂
What welcome gifts have you or your kids received from teachers?
