We all could benefit from anti-aging products. No one really wants to get old let alone LOOK old. You don't hear anyone say “Yes, another wrinkle!”. That just doesn't happen.
Women tend to take care of their skin more than men do. I at least wash my face everyday, use products that contain sunscreen, and moisturize. On the other hand, I think the closest cleansing that my husband's face gets is if the soapy water from washing his hair happens to splash his face while he's rinsing it. As for moisturizer he may get something from the shaving cream when he shaves every few days. He doesn't apply sunscreen unless he knows he's going to be in the sun all day and even then he forgets sometimes.
I am all for trying new products especially ones that may slow down the aging process. The good folks at Shielo USA let me try their Visage Complexion Moisturizer Anti-Aging Cream. I am very grateful!
Pros: It goes on smoothly and doesn't take long to absorb. Your skin feels fresh and actually moisturized when you used it (unlike Loreal's BB Cream). I've used it underneath foundation and it doesn't make the foundation roll into pieces or anything. It does exactly what I think a moisturizer should do.
Cons: The only thing that I did not like about this cream was the smell. To me it smelt like my Apple Cinnamon Pancakes or Apple Granola Streusel Muffin batter. I kid not! It has a bakery, cinnamon type smell. I like fresh, clean scents if they are going to be on my face, but to each their own. I preferred the smell of Mia Mariu's Cream but that's just me.
The makers of Visage Complexion Moisturizer Anti-Aging Cream say their product does/contains/is the following:
“• pH balanced, hypoallergenic non-greasy formula that quickly absorbs to refine skin to a new clarity. • Vitamin A: plays a vital role in the protection and repair of skin cells. • Designed to smooth uneven texture with moisture, combating the look of fine lines and wrinkles. • Paraben, sulfate and chemical free. • Cruelty free & vegan.” To learn more about Shielo USA and their products please visit them on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
What is your skin care routine? Do you think it's important to wear sunscreen? I know so many adults that put it on their children but don't use it on themselves.
Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
