Starting Personal Trainer Food Off On The Right Foot

Most of us, at one point or another, have wanted to lose weight. The problem is that this is easier said than done.

You have no idea what to eat or how much.

Thankfully, there’s Personal Trainer Food™.

What is Personal Trainer Food?

Personal Trainer Food (PTF) is a weight loss program that provides pre-portioned low carb food options right to your door. These protein-rich meals are healthy and tasty, and super easy to make!

Placing Your Order

Placing an order for Personal Trainer Food is extremely easy. They offer three meal plans for you to choose from — Rev!™, Core, and You Choose.

personal trainer food

With each plan, you can choose between a 14 or 28-day meal plan.

Rev!™ offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while Core offers only lunch and dinner. However, in Core, you can add on breakfast and snacks if you wish, while in You Choose, the meal options are entirely up to you.

Scan through the three plans and choose the one that you believe will help your weight loss efforts the best.

We tried out the 14-day Core meal plan and added breakfast to it!

Once you have picked your plan, you then move on to selecting your meal options. The website lets you know precisely how many of each meal item you need to add.

They offer a nice assortment of foods, so it’s easy to find your favorites!

After that, you simply place your order.

You get to choose how often you want to receive your items (i.e., every 2 or 4 weeks) and your arrival date. It couldn’t be simpler!

Receiving Your Box

Before your Personal Trainer Food box arrives, you should receive several emails updating you on your order status.

It’s okay if your box arrives when you are not home. It is nicely packaged in a reusable box filled with dry ice.

Trust me, this a super durable shipping box with all the bells and whistles. There’s no doubt your food will arrive safely.

You can even donate the shipping box to charity. Just fill it with clothes and household items, print the pre-paid shipping, and ship it.

Inside the box, you will see all of the meals you have selected. Each breakfast, meat, and vegetable entree will be individually wrapped in microwavable plastic bags.

Even if you just order a 14-day meal plan, it’s a lot of food. You will need ample space for all of it, and a few of those clear plastic organizer bins wouldn’t hurt either!

I’m lucky I have a couple of deep freezers in my garage for times just like this. As a family of five, we can never have too much freezer space!

Fast Start Your Program

One of the easiest ways to fast track PTF is to do a clear liquid fast before jumping in.

The great thing about this fast is that it starts with a yummy breakfast, which makes the idea of fasting a lot easier.

You can eat any breakfast in the Personal Trainer Food program or foods that promote weight loss in the PTF guidelines.

After that, you can have any clear, non-caloric beverage, even those that have caffeine. Just be sure to sip on water and these beverages throughout the day to stay hydrated.

You may drink cold or hot beverages—either is perfect!

Try to make it your goal to fast for at least 24-48 hours before starting PTF to accelerate your fat loss.

And, don’t forget to walk at least 2,000 steps during the fast and throughout the program. Good luck!

My family are trying to find ways to eat healthier. We have a lot of weight to lose and need to be more conscious of what we eat and how much we eat and when we eat. This program seems really helpful with all of those things. I also like that I can donate items with the box and use a pre paid label. That’s really cool.

After trying many diets, I found that eating healthy most of the time is what suits me. I also discovered keeping track of food by writing it down helped me figure out when I needed to substitute a healthier alternative at 4PM and 1oPM instead of eating sugary items like ice cream and salty things like chips. Aiming for 3000-6000 steps a day is also a goal I’ve set.

When I return to work this would be a great time saver, and this would be great for people who don’t cook and prefer convenience. I’d have to think hard before subscribing to a service like this.

I have never tried Personal Trainer Food myself. However I can say as I am a personal trainer those looking for nutrition advice should consult a registered dietitian. After that once you know your needs and goals meal services like this are great to stay on plan. I usually go to the grocery store and purchase all of the ingredients and prepare them ahead of time. These will typically come as you need them so it’s less work usually. If you have the extra money I say go for it.
