Most of us, at one point or another, have wanted to lose weight. The problem is that this is easier said than done.
You have no idea what to eat or how much.
Thankfully, there's Personal Trainer Food™.
What is Personal Trainer Food?
Personal Trainer Food (PTF) is a weight loss program that provides pre-portioned low carb food options right to your door. These protein-rich meals are healthy and tasty, and super easy to make!
Placing Your Order
Placing an order for Personal Trainer Food is extremely easy. They offer three meal plans for you to choose from — Rev!™, Core, and You Choose.
With each plan, you can choose between a 14 or 28-day meal plan.
Rev!™ offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while Core offers only lunch and dinner. However, in Core, you can add on breakfast and snacks if you wish, while in You Choose, the meal options are entirely up to you.
Scan through the three plans and choose the one that you believe will help your weight loss efforts the best.
We tried out the 14-day Core meal plan and added breakfast to it!
Once you have picked your plan, you then move on to selecting your meal options. The website lets you know precisely how many of each meal item you need to add.
They offer a nice assortment of foods, so it's easy to find your favorites!
After that, you simply place your order.
You get to choose how often you want to receive your items (i.e., every 2 or 4 weeks) and your arrival date. It couldn't be simpler!
Receiving Your Box
Before your Personal Trainer Food box arrives, you should receive several emails updating you on your order status.
It's okay if your box arrives when you are not home. It is nicely packaged in a reusable box filled with dry ice.
Trust me, this a super durable shipping box with all the bells and whistles. There's no doubt your food will arrive safely.
You can even donate the shipping box to charity. Just fill it with clothes and household items, print the pre-paid shipping, and ship it.
Interested in starting a new weight loss program? Read more about Personal Trainer Food and how to start the program off right! Click To TweetInside the box, you will see all of the meals you have selected. Each breakfast, meat, and vegetable entree will be individually wrapped in microwavable plastic bags.
Even if you just order a 14-day meal plan, it's a lot of food. You will need ample space for all of it, and a few of those clear plastic organizer bins wouldn't hurt either!
I'm lucky I have a couple of deep freezers in my garage for times just like this. As a family of five, we can never have too much freezer space!
Fast Start Your Program
One of the easiest ways to fast track PTF is to do a clear liquid fast before jumping in.
The great thing about this fast is that it starts with a yummy breakfast, which makes the idea of fasting a lot easier.
You can eat any breakfast in the Personal Trainer Food program or foods that promote weight loss in the PTF guidelines.
After that, you can have any clear, non-caloric beverage, even those that have caffeine. Just be sure to sip on water and these beverages throughout the day to stay hydrated.
You may drink cold or hot beverages—either is perfect!
Try to make it your goal to fast for at least 24-48 hours before starting PTF to accelerate your fat loss.
And, don't forget to walk at least 2,000 steps during the fast and throughout the program. Good luck!

This personal trainer food sounds like something that I would like to try. I was doing pretty good with the eating right and exercising. Some of the problems I had was that I don’t know how to cook and was getting tired of eating the same foods. This would work, prepackaged foods which can be cooked in the microwave.
I tend to have that problem as well – getting tired of the foods. Personal trainer food is a great way to mix things up
It sounds like this would be a great program for me. The meals are realistic examples of what you should eat. This would help jump start my weightloss goals, something I desparately need now.
Totally agree – personal trainer food is a great way to jump-start your weight loss goals
This sounds like an amazing start to a weight loss journey or a way to have healthier eating habits.
We all have to start somewhere and personal trainer food is a great way to do it
I have never tried Personal Trainer Food myself. However I can say as I am a personal trainer those looking for nutrition advice should consult a registered dietitian. After that once you know your needs and goals meal services like this are great to stay on plan. I usually go to the grocery store and purchase all of the ingredients and prepare them ahead of time. These will typically come as you need them so it’s less work usually. If you have the extra money I say go for it.
Very true! My cousin has seen some great results working with a dietitian
I really like the different versions of taking on what you are looking for. It is nice to see different price points for them as well.
Personal trainer food has some great options!
I like the plan that only has lunch and dinner. I eat the same thing for breakfast each morning so the breakfast plan would not work for me.
What do you usually have for breakfast?
I would like the lunch and dinner plan because I usually have a FiberOne bar with a piece of fruit or a handful of cashews for breakfast. I have a on the go lifestyle.
Personal trainer food would work great with your on-the-go lifestyle
I have seen a lot of meal kits. Never heard of this company before but they sound like they have some good meals.
Honestly, personal trainer food tastes great and I am pretty picky!
There’s a part of me that wants to give this a try because it IS time saving…but I’m thrifty and could, in theory, prep food. When I return to work this would be a great time saver, and this would be great for people who don’t cook and prefer convenience. I’d have to think hard before subscribing to a service like this.
Subscription Food Services are time saving but youdo cost money. You just have to weigh the pros and cons
I like that they have so many choices. I’ve never used a personal trainer before.
I’ve never used a personal trainer either before but it’s probably motivating
If never tried personal training food or meal service before. I like that you can customize it, I think it could be a good starting point to get a feel for serving sizes.
They definitely make dieting easy buy portioning everything out
This looks like a wonderful and super useful program. I love the variety of foods and meals that they offer. When I am trying to lose weight- the more convenient healthy foods are……the more likely I am to succeed.
Convenience always helps when it comes to dieting
I think this is amazing. I have never had any dieting experiences except eating small portions, but I want to try something like this so it can help me out in what to eat and when to eat it.
Personal trainer food definitely helps if you are lost in the whole dieting world
After trying many diets, I found that eating healthy most of the time is what suits me. I also discovered keeping track of food by writing it down helped me figure out when I needed to substitute a healthier alternative at 4PM and 1oPM instead of eating sugary items like ice cream and salty things like chips. Aiming for 3000-6000 steps a day is also a goal I’ve set.
What do you sub for sweet and salty foods?
This looks like a great variety of foods. I love that you can get plans with or without breakfast!
I love that 2 – it’s great to have options!
Love to try it
I’ve never had any experience with trainer food. What seems to really help me is by cutting my sugars and becoming more active.
Cutting sugar and exercising is a great way to lose weight
Do they have vegetarian options? I’m stuck at home with a broken ankle and have been *thinking* about trying a meal plan just because … I’m stuck at home.
Yes they have a make your own plan option where you could choose all vegetables if you wish
This looks like a great way to track a good diet. I love how it gives you a few different options to choose from depending on your needs.
Personal trainer food makes eating healthy easy and doable in these hectic times
Lots of experience of dieting but my family just eats whatever they want which makes it even harder.
Is no one in your family dieting right now?
This is an intriguing concept on dieting. I’ve seen food boxes before but not like this one. This would make sticking to a food plan much easier.
And the best part is that personal trainer food tastes amazing too
I love that they pick meals that are well balanced and healthy and super easy to heat and eat. It takes time to figure out healthy meals, and they already did the work for you!
Yep they made eating healthy super easy
I love the idea of having healthy foods ready to make. It mskes it easier and convenient to eat good food that you won’t feel guilty about later.
Totally agree – that’s why personal trainer food is amazing!
This would be the most perfect win for me! I have always said if I could just have someone make meals for me, I would be set. I always start my new healthy ways of eating off great but then I get lazy and lose motivation. I think this could really help with that!
I think that’s true for most of us. Who wouldn’t want someone to make our meals? And personal trainer food meals taste amazing 2
i love that there are several plans of their low-carb options. i also like that they have a lot of variety in food choices.
We love Personal trainer foods low carb options as well. It’s so easy to mix and match them for Endless meal variety
My family are trying to find ways to eat healthier. We have a lot of weight to lose and need to be more conscious of what we eat and how much we eat and when we eat. This program seems really helpful with all of those things. I also like that I can donate items with the box and use a pre paid label. That’s really cool.
Personal trainer food contains the right foods like meat eggs and vegetables. They are what your body needs to lose weight and also tastes amazing.
Wow that’s a lot of food, 14 days. Most mailed diet meals do not include veggies. This one does.
You are right – personal trainer food includes so many vegetables!
i think any program that rations out the foods for u leaving no guess work is awesome as for the exercise im not a fan but would be willing to give it a go in my lane maybe slow n steady n easy. but yes im all for personal trainer foods love it
Eating right is about 90% of the battle exercise is only about 10%. You can do it!
All of the selections look really good! My experience with dieting is kind of dismal — maybe having someone else prepare my food would help!
What kind of diets have you tried?
I love the ideal of pre-portioned low carb food options right to your door. Takes the guess work out of the right portions and food to eat. I would love this
And the best part is personal trainer food doesn’t taste like diet food at all!
I love how easy this sounds! There is nothing easier than throwing something in the microwave!
I know right – personal trainer food tastes so good too!
I think anyone would love these meals dieting or not. I hope to try these out soon, looks amazing
You are so right – personal trainer food tastes great even if you aren’t on a diet!
I have never had Personal Trainer Food
Personal Trainer Food has been around for nearly 10 years. You should check them out!
Great for my mom who is having a very hard time. Following the plan and having the meals would help her so much.
I’m sorry your mom is having a hard time. Hopefully, personal trainer food can help her out!
