The last day of school for my kids was yesterday and that means schedules are going to get out of whack real quick. For some reason, during the summer, we can't keep a normal schedule for anything. The kids go to bed and wake up at odd hours.
I work at home so I don't mind them sleeping in a little later while I work. It's the only peace I get for three months — I have to enjoy it.
We all can't escape to the office like my husband. Don't get me wrong — he'd much rather work at home like he used to and help entertain the kids during the summer. He's an amazing father. And, just like any great father, he deserves something special this Father's Day.
I suggest you look into JORD Wood Watches. A couple of months ago, JORD reached out to me and let's just say they blew my mind. I have never owned a watch that I've been so impressed by like the Cora Polaris Walnut & Blue wood watch. It's my favorite watch ever.
Just as stunning as the early Father's Day present my husband received — the Conway Kosso & Midnight Blue.
The JORD Watch Box
It comes in a free gorgeous cedar humidor watch box with everything you need to take care of your unique JORD watch. This care package itself is worth $115 which includes the box, clothing cloth, and a 6 month supply of wood treatment gel.
It makes this already ‘wow' gift go over the top — I mean— the box even has a drawer!
Perfect for Keeping Dad on Track
Best of all it's the perfect thing dad needs to stay on time this summer.
No matter, if he's at work or playing with the kids the JORD Conway Kosso & Midnight Blue Watch, will keep him on time. It features a chronograph with date that will allow him to tackle his day, down to the last second!
A Look Into the JORD Conway Kosso & Midnight Blue Wood Watch
This JORD watch is a skeleton watch. No, it doesn't have cross and bones on it, it means you can see inside of it. The innards of the watch are displayed so you can see exactly how it works.
Truly a collectors timepiece that's perfect for any tech-savvy dad (at great prices)!
And, if you have an active dad this self-winding watch also features:
- Wrist stopwatch
- Luminescent hands
- Splash-proof
And, as all of that wasn't enough — you also get:
- Free shipping
- Hassle-free returns
- 100% secure checkout
- Free personalized engraving
- If needed, pay in 3 interest-free payments
- One year warranty
Yes. It’s something in the chemicals of my body. Sounds crazy. Every time I’d get a watch I was excited about, it would last 2 months then die. The battery would go out. It happened to like 3 or 4 watches. I was really sad when it happened with my melted Salvador Dali watch.
I met a few other people that knew people this happened to as well.
I gave up, and used a pocket watch in grad school. Now there are cell phones.
I have never heard of that before. Sounds very interesting!
a nice watch, I always leave early to be on time.
I know, such a unique watch!
This watch looks very nice. Thanks for sharing!
I’m glad you like the look of JORD!
I’m not a watch wearer as I usually just use my phone or a clock, but I really do love the natural look of these wood watches. I would love to get one of these for a gift for my father.
JORD would make an excellent gift for your father!
I usually stay on time with my watch. I never leave home without it because I need to know the time constantly.
I’m starting to feel strange when I don’t have my watch on. I’ve gotten used to looking at my wrist for the time.
I try to stay on time by giving myself more than enough time to get ready when I have to be somewhere! This is definitely necessary when you have three kiddos under 10.
Yes, that is a must. Kids can be SO SLOW lol!
That’s a nice watch! I stay on time by getting up earlier so I will have time to get ready. I also set alarms for when I need to get up or get ready.
Great methods to staying on time!
Great looking watches. I have no problems being on time, I just always add in some wiggle room.
Yep, that’s what I do too!
I set alarms, not just in the morning. I also try to prioritize tasks, which usually means forgoing makeup in the morning!
With makeup, I try to build in time and get everything else ready the night before so I can do it (if it’s a morning thing).
Awesome
i stay on time by covinving myself i have to be there 20 minutes before haha
That’s a good mind set to have!
I stay on time by counting backwards with all the stuff that needs to be done before I leave the house, and then allotting enough time for driving. Thanks for sharing!
Exactly what I do too!
This would be wonderful for my husband! My skin, for some reason breaks batteries. I could never keep a watch, for the life of me when I was a kid. They are so wonderful!
Break batteries? Like watches die fast on you?
Those are beautiful watches. I wish my husband would be more careful, then it would be worth it to give as a gift. As it is, he either loses it or forgets to take it off when working, and it gets scratched.
Maybe just have him bring it out for special occasions and date nights.
Staying on time isn’t always easy with 3 kids (and a hubby) in tow. I usually prepare what I can the night before & make sure we have whatever we need for whatever outing we are going on. I set my alarm keeping in mind what all we have to do before we leave (breakfast, getting dressed, etc). I also make the kids take responsibility for getting their own gear or materials for piano, dance, etc. We make it work.
We try to do all those things as well. It’s easier said than done but we manage lol.
These watches are awesome. I got both of my sons one a couple of years ago. They just love them. They are so stylish and wear well. Thank you so much for sharing
My son loves his JORD watch too – he wears it all of the time!
Nice looking Jord watch. There are several things I do to stay on time. I set the timer on my phone for deadlines. I also use post it notes to remind me of deadlines.
Alexa is great for reminders too or Siri!
The only way that I can stay on time is just by being early, especially with my husband. If I relied on him, we’d be late for everything! If something starts at 12:00, I have to tell him that we should be there at 11:30.
Haha, you have to do that with some people!
Such a beautiful watch, I wonder how durable it is in comparison to metal.
I can’t say for sure since we haven’t had ours too long. I would just be extra careful with water.
These watches are beautiful. I can really see one on my daughter as she has a big wrist and usually chooses men’s watches.
The great thing about JORD is that they are unisex. It will look great on anyone!
The clocks in my house are always set 10 minutes earlier than the actual time so I am never late!
That’s a good trick to have to stay on time!
how will i stay on time i will use my watch .and or setup alarm to wake me up when im sleeping
Tried and true. Can’t go wrong with those!
I have never had an issue with staying on time. Being punctual has always been important to me. (My best friend growing up, on the other hand, always seemed to be running late). I prepare ahead of time for anything I need to do or anyplace I need to go. And I’m always checking the time…on clocks, on my phone, on my computer.
You and me sound like two peas in a pod!
This watch is really beautiful, in a masculine way! How comfortable is it to wear? The men in my life are very active outdoors.
My son typically doesn’t wear it if he’s going to be too active. He’s afraid he will hurt it.
I stay on time by counting backward to determine how much time I need to get somewhere, and then plan accordingly. I am rarely late. Thanks for sharing!
I do that too trying to account for driving time and traffic depending on the hour.
This is beautiful. My father most of the time wore a watch. He passed almost two years ago.
He made his living being on time and being prompt. Other members of my family growing up were not always on time. I try to always be on time if not a bit early. I have a few clocks around that are 15 minutes fast and I usually leave to be someplace at least 1/2 hour before I should. I hate being late.
I hate being late too! I like to stick to schedules 🙂
I actually got a jord watch for my dad a while ago, he likes the wooden design.
That’s awesome! My son has taken over my husband’s watch and he’s gotten so many compliments on it.
This JORD Conway Kosso & Midnight Blue Wood Watch would be perfect for my husband. He is often late and is not good with time management. I am always watching a clock though and I am always on time! I would also rather be early then late for an appointment.
I can’t understand people that are always late. Although to be fair, I partially am always on time so people aren’t staring at me when I walk in somewhere late lol.
I don’t do late! If I have to be somewhere that I have never been I will leave extra early to find the place. When I worked I started work at 7:30 am and I was always at my desk at 7:15
It’s always better to be early than late!
These are nice watches. I got my better half one a couple of years ago.
I bet he loved the watch!
i do not have fathere or grand but for me to stay on time i have timex and i leave up to half hr early
It’s always better to be early than late!
First, I absolutely LOVE the watch! Love the wood, it’s so nice! But, as much as I love it, I’ve never really been a watch wearer. My cell phone/tablet has all I need. That’s the way that I keep track of time!
I was never a watch wearer either until recently. Now I find it weird when I look at my wrist and my watch isn’t there.
HOW I stay on time . …. I am one of those weird people that does NOT like to be late. If I need to be someplace at 2 pm and it takes me 10 minute to get there I leave home at 1:30
I am like that too! I make sure I account for travel time and traffic.
Gorgeous details in the wood! I would wear one of these even though I’m a girl haha!
I think most JORD watches could work for males and females.
I stay on time because of my alarm I hate the mouse. I don’t wear watches often. My phone is always in my hand and setting it’s alarm helps too
Setting alarms and reminders helps me a lot too!
Im usually on time for everything. I set my alarm for reminders and don’t get into any time consuming projects when I have to be somewhere.
I am big into reminders too – they help me so much!
I try and do a lot the night before, so I’m not late. It’s good it doesn’t take a long time to get places where I live.
I try to get as much ready as possible the night before too. I am so not a morning person lol.
doing NOTHING for father’s day to me it is just another day
I hope it was a great day none the less 🙂
Fur baby and I went to the park. I enjoyed being out in the fresh air and he enjoyed reading all the “messages” from other dogs and answering them
Haha, my dog does that when we walk the neighborhood. Almost seems like every yard lol.
My dad has passed on. Definitely an interesting watch.
I’m sorry to hear about your dad!
We did not celebrate this year as my dad recently passed
I’m so sorry for your loss!
I called my Dad and we chatted on Father’s Day. Wish I could have seen him, but he lives far away from me.
I’m sure he was glad you gave him a call and didn’t forget about him.
My farther passed away in 81. I miss him every day.
I’m so sorry about the loss of your father!!
Father’s Day is a special day. This year we had gifts given and a nice meal.
Sounds like a great Father’s Day!
We always eat steaks on fathers day…my hubby’s favorite
That’s one of my husband’s favorites too!
We had a quiet time at home for Father’s Day. It was nice and relaxing.
I love relaxing, lazy days at home with the fam!
We didn’t do anything for fathers day this year, as my dad past a few years ago. I did have lunch with my son though.
I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your father!
This past fathers day we had a bbq and went swimming with the whole family. We didn’t really exchange any gifts because money has been tight. We really had a great time
Swimming and a BBQ sounds like a great time!
My dad and my husband are both deceased. My daughter has no children although my son-in-law has grown children from another relationship. And they live in another state. My brother and sister-in-law have no children. So I really have no one to celebrate father’s day with. I will take fur baby to the park and spend the rest of the day entering sweeps
I’m sorry to hear that! I bet your fur baby was glad to spend time with you 🙂
Since Daddy died 13 yrs. ago, I try not to even think about the day. I used to really look forward to it as he did it. Today, I will go see Mama and help her out while trying not to feel sad about what today would have been.
I’m sorry to hear about your dads passing! Spending time with your mother is a great way to spend the day though.
My husband was out of the country for father’s day so we’ll have a cookout when he gets home. That’s what we usually do.
I bet he loved that!
Wish I was spending time with my dad but he lives in FL & I live in NY, so nothing special on Father’s Day.
I hope you at least gave him a call!
Definitely!
this is a awesome watch. i would wear it at all times
It’s def a great watch!
