My boys are big muffin fans. They love them for breakfast or as a snack. I love that you can make them as healthy or as unhealthy as you want. My favorite is banana nut but no one else eats them in my house. Boo. Guess that means more for me. I don't always have time to make the boys my apple granola streusel muffins though so my old stand by for quick muffins is Martha White. With just a couple of packets and some milk you can truly make some yummy muffins with the help of Batter Babies.
Batter Babies are reusable cake batter separators specifically made for cupcakes (comes in a package of 6). They are made with food safe plastic and are dishwasher safe. Batter Babies allows you to create multi flavored or colored cupcakes (and muffins). So cool! Would be great for birthday parties!! I bet my mickey mouse cupcakes would of been even more awesome being two flavors.
I don't know about you but I am a huge fan of chocolate covered strawberries. Just love them. I thought a nice muffin combo would be strawberry and chocolate chip muffins.
Follow the directions on the Martha White packets to make the two kinds of batter. Enter Batter Babies. Batter Babies are super simple to use. You just place them in the center of a muffin tin (or put two to add several flavors) and put one side of the divider strawberry and the other chocolate chip batter.
My Batter Babies would barely stand in the center on their own (until at least one side of batter was placed) so I had to make sure to hold it in place when pouring in my batters. I placed my batters in two separate pastry bags to make the process a bit easier. I had Big Bug hold the Batter Babies while I squirted in each kind of batter. Once the batters were in place I removed the Batter Babies before baking according to the packets directions.
The end result was heavenly. Chocolate and strawberries is always a good combo. My son insisted though that I still put butter on them like his other muffins. What is your favorite type of muffin?
