Surpahs Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale Review

Have you ever noticed that most scales are, well, kind of heavy? Heavy for what they are anyway. This can be a problem for someone who can't lift heavy things (or prefers not to). My grandfather LOVES lightweight things.

We've had to buy lightweight dishware and utensils especially for him. Something as simple as a solid fork or a heavy ceramic plate is too much for him.

And when you think of the weight of a bathroom scale compared to these items you just know that it's going to be too much for him. After all, currently the scale can't just be sat out all of the time because the bathroom is too small. He has to retrieve it from the linen closet if he wants to weigh himself which can be dangerous for him.

I was so glad to be introduced to Surpahs Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale. It has grandpa's name written all over it.

Surpahs Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale is small and lightweight. Hence the name. It measures  11″ x 9.6″ x 0.9″ with only a 6mm thickness and 2.6lbs in weight. Nice and lightweight!

This scale is default to measure weight in pounds but can also be changed to kg. As a regular scale all you do to weight yourself on the Surpahs Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale is just step on and let it calculate your weight. The scale will automatically turn off within 10 seconds of none use.

The Surpahs Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale can do more than just calculate your weight, it can also calculate your BMI. To do this you have to setup a user profile (this scale can store up to 4 user profiles) which contains your height and your go to go. It's very straightforward and easy to do.

Once your user profile is setup the scale will now calculate your BMI. Now when you weigh yourself the level bar goes up and down like before but now stops at the corresponding BMI level and displays your BMI number. It's pretty nice.

The Surpahs Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale also has what Surpahs calls as “Sense-On”. With this feature the scale can determine what profile user you are based on your weight and compare the current weight to previous calculations. Very cool!

Overall I think the features of this scale are pretty neat. I also love how small and lightweight the scale is. My only concern with Surpahs Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale WAS its accuracy. I weighed myself several times within a short time span and my weight varied within 4 pounds. I reread the manual though and figured out it was user error!

I had moved the scale and anytime you move the scale or change batteries you have to do an initialization process. It's very simple just press on the scale till it's 0.0 and let it turn off. Then just weigh yourself as normal. I tested Surpahs Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale doing the initialization process anytime I moved it to a different location and got the same weight every time!

Great scale! Would recommend to anyone who prefers lightweight things and wants an accurate scale!!
