Skin aging and wrinkles are one of those rights of passage as we age, that most of us would prefer to avoid. Finding some great ways to prevent skin aging and wrinkles naturally is a must. Especially for those of us who prefer to avoid harsh chemicals.
With these simple suggestions, you won't have to look forward to a future of chemical peels, surgeries, and heavy layers of makeup. Your skin will stay young and beautiful just like your spirit!
Protect Your Skin From The Sun
Nothing ages your skin as badly as being out in the sun for long periods of time unprotected. While having tanned skin has been popular for beauty reasons off and on for generations, we've come to realize that being pale has many benefits.
One of the best ways to prevent skin aging and wrinkles naturally is by simply protecting your skin. This includes wearing sunscreen not just when you are out at the beach, but also every day. Wear a great organic sunscreen on your face, arms, legs, hands, and any area that will be exposed to sunlight on a daily basis. Not only does this help prevent skin cancer, but it protects your skin from long term damage that can also increase wrinkles and visible aging.
Skip Tanning Beds
Tanning beds have been a controversial topic for as long as they have been in existence. Whether you feel they are safer than being out in the sunshine or not, the truth is they too can age your skin prematurely. Skip the tanning bed, and for that healthy sun-kissed look, use a bronzing powder or spray tan instead.
Keep Your Skin And Body Well Hydrated
Moisturizing from the inside out is a huge part of keeping your skin looking young and beautiful. Another suggestion is simply making sure you drink plenty of water. Beauty and wrinkle prevention comes from the inside out. Staying well-hydrated on a regular basis and sipping water over alcohol or sugar-laden soda is your best choice.
Say No To Smoking
Cigarettes are just not good for you in any way shape or form, but many still indulge. If you want to have wrinkles earlier than you should, this is one way you are going to make that happen. Put down the cigarette and walk away from the unhealthy habit that causes your body to age faster than it should.
Eat Right And Exercise Regularly
These two things are combined in one because they really are just all about taking care of your body as a whole. Genetics is a huge part in how fast you will have wrinkles or show age on your skin. There are many factors at play that you simply can't prevent. However, when you eat right, exercise, and take good care of your body, you are going to have a healthier appearance.
Use Natural Skincare Products
I would invest quality skin care products like SwissVita. The goal of SwissVita is to not only hide the signs of aging but reverse it. I love that their products are packed with natural ingredients.
Their signature ingredient is called AC-11. It's a is a bioactive rainforest plant extract that has been proven to help our skin's natural regeneration process. It activates key enzymes that repairs and rebuilds our DNA and gives collagen production a boost. Pretty cool, huh? I am all for turning back time! Here are three of their great products:
SwissVita Anti-Wrinkle Serum
We all get wrinkles whether we want to or not. It's just part of nature. This anti-wrinkle serum is great. I love how all of the SwissVita's products I received are fragrance-free. I can't stand facial products that boast all these benefits but then smell like something that shouldn't be anywhere near your face.
This serum gave great moisture to my skin while helping to reduce ugly lines around the mouth and eyes – without leaving a greasy residue!
My husband experienced something even better. After using SwissVita Anti-Wrinkle Serum for about a month my husband's expression wrinkles on his forehead had become less pronounced especially towards the ends. I was thrilled! I can't stand them.
SwissVita Eye Cream
I can't stand dark circles and eye wrinkles. It bothers me SO bad but unfortunately, they have become a fan of my husband. Maybe it's the years of popping out of bed early but he has awful dark circles. Most of the time it looks like he's got two shiners. Poor guy! To top it off, one of his eyes does this weird wrinkle thing when he smiles too.
Thankfully, since he's been using SwissVita Eye Cream I've noticed I haven't been griping at him to do something about his eyes. This cream has helped reduce all of those things I hate!
SwissVita Micrite 3D All Use Skin Serum
If you haven't been using sunscreen like you should this skin serum can help you out. It's kind of an all in one approach to skincare. It can reduce fine lines, dark spots, and wrinkles while helping to prevent them in the future as well. I love that can it works perfectly with all skin types. I have finicky skin and this did not bother it at all!
If you want to prevent skin aging and wrinkles naturally, you simply have to make wise decisions for your health. It is simply a matter of feeding your body the right way and protecting the skin that covers it from damaging things. Use common sense and follow good protocols and your skin will appear young and healthy for years to come.
Theres lots of products out there on the shelves but so many of them are to costly for my budget. Guess Im fairly lucky as for my age, I don’t have hardly any wrinkles but I do have brown spots on my skin.
Yes, unfortunately, skin care products can be expensive. I’m trying to find something that works for dark circles at the moment.
I am concerned about wrinkles and I use any antiaging products I can find on sale
Wrinkles are the worst and you don’t have to be older to get them either! Eek! Skin products CAN get pricey. Compared to a lot of skin products, SwissVita wasn’t bad price wise.
What concerns me most about aging is how fast my face is losing it’s elasticity. Right now I am trying to wear shirts which do not pronounce how it is starting to sag.

That’s a normal part of aging which totally stinks, I’m with you. There are many things you can do to help with that though!
I can’t find a place to sign up for your newsletter. The link provided try’s to take me to Facebook but as fb does so many times now, it blocks me from wherever the link is taking me and says something like I do not have permission or they are encountering a problem and to try back which never works.
Hi Christy! I’m sorry about that! Facebook can be a pain sometimes. If you go to http://www.homejobsbymom.com a pop up should show up at the very top of the page where you can also sign up. Let me know if this works 🙂
What concerns me most about aging is not trying to look like I’m 20 again but looking the best I can for my age. Unfortunately I spent so many years in the sun, tanning beds, smoking, etc that I’m seeing the consequences big time. I’ve had melanoma twice.
Again, I just want to look the best I can for my age.
I think that’s a great and positive outlook. Honestly, trying to look an age we’re not realyl shouldn’t be the focus, just looking healthy! So sorry to hear about the melanoma!
My biggest concern is more over age spots and gray hair. I have tried creams for age spots but so far no luck.
Age spots, usually because they’re darker, take a longer more consistent routine to lighten or get rid of but it’s worth the work!
I’m concerned with lines and wrinkles. I should have stayed out of the sun when I was younger. Thanks!
Ha! I think a lot of us wish we would have done that. I know I do!
I am 67 years old, and I’m not a bit concerned about it! (That ship has sailed!). I am not trying to fix anything.
It’s definitely never too late to try! However, I don’t blame you!
I’m not concerned about again, but this would make a great gift for my grandma. She is always trying out new products.

It’s always smart to get started on your skin earl on. You don’t want to start when the wrinkles have already hit!
I’m concerned about lines and wrinkles on my skin and am careful to use SPF daily to prevent it.
That is very smart! SPF does wonders in protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays.
These look like great products id love to try some.
You should! I think you would enjoy them as much as I do!
