It is Football season, which means you know exactly what will be on my television every single Sunday. And Monday and Thursday nights too (just in case you are keeping track).
In case you didn’t know I live in Texas and Texans are VERY passionate about football, almost as passionate as they are about good food. I’ve teamed up with Skinner® Pasta to show you just exactly what being Texas proud means.
Football and Texas go together like pasta and marinara – Skinner® Pasta that is.
Skinner pasta is the #1 Pasta in Texas. Why? Because us Texans LOVE the stuff. It tastes delicious and somehow always turns out perfectly. That’s saying something if you knew my many pasta mishaps over the years.
Not to mention, Skinner pasta is something that is easy to make on hectic school nights yet super affordable. It’s this mother’s dream come true!
I love being able to whip up something that’s enriched, Non-GMO (for their most popular shapes), and can feed a WHOLE CROWD of screaming football fans in a snap. Plus with all of the different varieties of Skinner pasta, dinner doesn’t have to be boring, it can be fun! Like with Skinner Texas Shape pasta.
If you stop by my house for dinner, you will probably find “Texas Style” Creamy Tomato Macaroni on the menu and football on the television. Seriously, we can’t get enough of these two!
Are you getting hungry?
I know I am. Here’s a super easy and delicious pasta recipe that will slap a smile on your face and fill your belly and your hearts with Texas pride.
