Early in the year I received some great items from Burlap Fabric. I have been waiting for the perfect time to use the burlap table runner ($13) I received. It's 120″ long, perfect for the 6ft table my husband built. Oh, yes he built that beauty from scratch. Shanty 2 Chic and Ana White always have amazing ideas. While our farmhouse table is only two pedestals it fits our space like a glove. I LOVE it!!
Anyway, the burlap table runner sets the tone for my Fall Centerpiece, don't you think? Isn't burlap AMAZING!? For an easy centerpiece I filled a glass container with pine-cones from Walmart and Hobby Lobby fake pumpkins. For a rustic touch I wrapped the glass container with hay. I think it looks great!
Since the burlap table runner has some length to it I expanded my centerpiece to include real mini pumpkins and threw on any extra pine-cones that were laying around.
To add ambiance candles were needed too, of course. These aren't ordinary candles. They are all flameless LED candles. Perfect for kids! Three of the candles can even be controlled by remote and change colors. SO cool! They too got the rustic treatment with hay.
To finish it off the burlap table runner needed a little something something. Burlap bows it was! They tie everything together.
Everything goes well with the farmhouse table, burlap, and the season. Now let's hope it can stay pretty till Thanksgiving. I have everything crossed!
