Many of us have a variety of different apps installed on our devices. From music streaming and online magazines to kid’s content, we can quickly find our devices becoming overrun by several different apps.
I should know — between my husband, kids, and myself we a butt load of apps on our devices. Probably way more than we actually need.
Managing all your apps, subscriptions, payment methods, and attempting to switch from app to app when you want to do something different, can become overwhelming rather quickly.
Wouldn’t it be great if you had one multi-content app that worked for the entire family? Good news! This is where the WEYV app comes in.
What is WEYV?
WEYV is an app that has magazines, music, e-books, and (soon) podcasts. SCORE!
With the help of this app, I can almost junk all the useless apps besides a few games and social media networks and be good to go. There's no need for my son to have twenty billion apps on his iPad, is there?
This app offers an entire catalog of digital content that people based in the United States can access. It is available on both Android and iOS devices, as well as via a web player.
Why My Family Loves WEYV
Honestly, this app has been a lifesaver for our family. Not only do the kids have access to quality content, but because it’s safe for them to use via the Child profile (which doesn’t expose your child to any explicit content in the app), I don’t have to be worried about what they are accessing.
Normally, I'm worried about them finding inappropriate content especially with the existence of YouTube. And with all those strange challenges that appear online these days, it's better to be safe than sorry.
It is also fantastic that the app content is accessible offline. This makes it much easier to enjoy downloaded content on the go without having to eat up data. This saves a bunch of time and money, allowing us to enjoy road trips without the huge phone bill after or the kids bickering every two seconds because they're bored.
The fact that you can invite friends and family to the app and create private groups that allow everyone to share content and collaborate on playlists is AMAZING. Most of our family lives out of state and this allows our kids to get creative with their cousins. They only get to see them once a year but this makes the stretch in between not seem quite as long.
PLUS this totally reduces the number of arguments about what we are going to listen to in the car and at home, as the playlists can have something for everyone. Thank goodness!
We also love the fact that it’s a multi-content app. No longer are our devices overtaken by a zillion different apps, making to easier to find everything in one place. No more fumbling around to read a magazine, no more annoying arguments over which app is for what and no more searching through an endless stream of different applications to find the one I am looking for. Less stress, easy to use and extremely convenient — every mother's dream.

This sounds like a great app, I will definitely be getting it for my three kids. You can never be too safe these days when it comes to the internet. Thank you so much for sharing!
I don’t really use many apps regularly so I’m not really in any danger of being overloaded. Kid’s apps should be monitored very closely but that’s not really a concern of mine since my “kid” is 45! Thanks for the info though
The very best, but probably not the easiest, or most ideal way to help children be safe and smart online USA loving and wise grown up right there watching and teaching them discirnment. But because this messed up world has mcrested a society in which we are all worked to death and our free time is spent in a kind of stupor trying to recover from the work WEAK ( misspelling intentional ) there’s no time nor energy to Lee up with what your children are up to online. If you have terms you make darn sure that you look at their browsing history and that your children KNOW that you will be doing this. This being done ( sling w/ the awesome discernment you taught them, your children will monitor THEMSELVES! Genius!😇
I have never heard of the Weyv app. It is something that I’m definitely going to look into.It seems like it gives us more control over what our children or grandchildren will be exposed to. Thank you.
Cool! I don’t have any kids but my my nephew will like this when he gets bigger. That’s good it’s child safe. I got exposed to adult pop ups when I was a kid, that’s when the internet was still fairly new. It’s upsetting for parents and kids.
Sounds like a great app, although I wish it were free, of course. It would be especially good for keeping my grandsons safe on devices and I love that it has Highlights and Nat Geo for Kids.
This sounds like a great app! Too bad it’s only available in the US and not Canada too. Keeping kids safe online is so incredibly important and such a huge worry for parents and guardians.
Kids do pick up new technology rather quickly. I’m one of the few who have a dad in his 60’s that’s actually stayed on top of it. My husband’s parents not so much.
We’ve learned the hard way when not putting parental controls on a computer that 8 year old’s can see porn. I think everyone need to constantly monitor desktops, smart phones ,tablets.
I’m pretty strict with letting my kids download anything!! The apos that go on a y device have to be approved per parental control. We had an issue with the kids ordering stuff off amazin and thinking it was free because the automated wallet was hooked up..lol!
I have a lot of eBooks on my phone s well as podcasts and sometimes, it really irritates me when they seem too much for my phone memory that I have to do away with them after I’m done. Thus app will definitely come in handy!
i so love it to have stumbled this kind of app. thanks to you. I so agree when finally, you can share things like playlists, songs, and albums with other family members of the WEYV app.
I like that this app is an all-in-one for magazines, music and e-books. I hate having a bunch of apps on my phone, and it really takes up a lot of memory. I like all the music features of this too. I will check it out.
This sounds like a nice app. I have to recommend it to some friends who have kids that are also worried that the kids can end up on the wrong side of the net.
I like that it has a child version to monitor and prevent any craziness on the phone while children have it. Especially with the momo sensation going around right now
WEYV would be so ideal for my home…all of my devices are cluttered with apps I don’t need and all of that clutter can be really stressful… Thank you for the recommendation
I really need to check this out. Not only would it be nice to have everything in one place, but the peace of mind of not having to worry about all those stupid challenges that kids seem to find is priceless!
I don’t think its the data limit I think its the phone’s limit. I use a cheap $100 phone and need to replace it every couple years. The nicer phones allow so much more.

It might come in handy for your grandkids!
My boys are adults now. But I will share this with my friends who have young kids.
WEYV isn’t only for kids. It is great for adults too!
That’s quite an app all right. Throw in some movies and you’ve got something.
They may add movies in the future!
This sounds like a great app. It is so important to keep your kids safe online.
It’s great for everyone who loves music!
I try not too add too many apps they slow my devices down. I love child safety apps though
This is not just a child safety app, it’s great for everyone!
this may be very helpful to me ,when the grandkids are here,,i dont have a lot of apps on my phone
WEYV would be great for your grandkids or for you if you like music and ebooks.
As a parent, I firmly believe the safety of our children is upmost important. Knowing what sites and apps that are dangerous is very important.
Yes, it is especially with how much kids seem to love electronics these days.
My kids are too old for something like this but I will share it with my sister in law.
It’s not only great for kids, WEYV is also great for anyone that loves music and ebooks.
Thank you for sharing. When our grandkids come over we do keep an eye on them while they are on the computer.
It’s a must to watch kids on all electronics these days!
My sons are grown now & don’t use social media much. When they were younger we talked at length about safety & they had rules they followed.
Sounds like you are a great parent! Talking with your children about the bad things in this world is a must.

Yes! Looking at everything your kids do online is a must. This world can be crazy and scary!
I have never heard of the Weyv app. It is something that I’m definitely going to look into.It seems like it gives us more control over what our children or grandchildren will be exposed to. Thank you.
You should try it. There’s a 2-month free trial!!

Yes, the unexpected adult pop-ups are well bad times for parents.
Thank you for reviewing this app. It sounds like a great way to keep tabs on what the kids are listening to.
Yes, and so much more 🙂
Sounds like a great app, although I wish it were free, of course. It would be especially good for keeping my grandsons safe on devices and I love that it has Highlights and Nat Geo for Kids.
You should at least try the free trial and see what you think!
To be honest my kiddos hardly ever tough a device unless its at random and then they only watch a movie on netflix etc..
That’s really good these days!!
This app looks very useful. Thanks for sharing!
It really is Lily! You should try the free 2 month trial 🙂
Really clever app – the parents should always be in control!
Yes, parental control is a must, especially with tech.
Seems to be a great app for families with children, to help keep everyone’s mental health. We tend to use a only a few apps and do not hoard them.
Sounds like you have great control and only use what you need. That’s great!
This does sound pretty great especially the music. I myself have never been good with apps or technology. It is all pretty much way over my head.
I’m sure you could get the hang of it with time. It just takes practice just like anything else.
This sounds like a great app! Too bad it’s only available in the US and not Canada too. Keeping kids safe online is so incredibly important and such a huge worry for parents and guardians.
I bet in the future they may expand to other countries!
Apps!? What are apps?? Just kidding 😆; yeah, I don’t indulge in apps.
Haha, I think the only people I know who don’t use apps is my grandma and father in law. Although I think my aunt bought got my grandma a new phone.
I think that WEVY is a great idea in theory. However, my children very quickly outpaced me with technology.
Kids do pick up new technology rather quickly. I’m one of the few who have a dad in his 60’s that’s actually stayed on top of it. My husband’s parents not so much.
I really avoid downloading apps. Many times I would just rather use their sites.
For me, it just depends on the site or app and where I want to use it.
I think this app is really good and beneficial for everyone! This makes things so easy when we go online!
You are so right. This app is great for EVERYONE!
We’ve learned the hard way when not putting parental controls on a computer that 8 year old’s can see porn. I think everyone need to constantly monitor desktops, smart phones ,tablets.
That’s def not something an 8-year-old should be seeing!
I think the WEYV app is a great idea for families with young{er} kids. My kids are older so I’m not sure if the WEYV app would work for us.
I think teens would enjoy the music and magazines on WEYV!
Never heard of Weyv before but sounds like a wonderful app! I’d love to check it out!
You should try it, Ana! There’s a two-month free trial 🙂
I love this as a way to minimize how many apps I have on my phone. I need to declutter my phone apps. Great for parents for sure!
It’s great if you use a lot of digital media apps. With WEYV you can get your music, books, and magazines all in one app!
So cool to see that your family loves this service. I think we could benefit from it since we have and use multiple devices at once.
If you subscribe to a lot of different digital media services WEYV could def help you lessen the load!
WEYV sounds like a cool app. I’m sure its a lifesaver for families!
It’s perfect for anyone who loves digital entertainment!
I love the concept of this app. Something that we all need especially if we have kids.
It’s a must have app for everyone!
This sounds like a great app. Child safety is what really important especially nowadays.
I know, this world is super crazy sometimes!
This looks super useful! I’ve always had problems with the amount of apps I have on my phone. Thank you for introducing this to me!
WEYV is perfect if you use a lot of media content!
Sounds like a one size fits all for apps! I would love to give this a try!
Go ahead Sara – there’s a 2-month free trial going on right now!
I’m pretty strict with letting my kids download anything!! The apos that go on a y device have to be approved per parental control. We had an issue with the kids ordering stuff off amazin and thinking it was free because the automated wallet was hooked up..lol!
Ouch! That doesn’t sound good. We use an app like that to control their devices as well. It’s called Our Pact. It works great!
I am willing to give anything a try that will make my life easier! Sounds like a great app!
You should try it! There’s a 2-month free trial 🙂
I’ve never heard of this before! I have so many apps on my phone, I’m not sure I have space for any more.
WEYV can help you reduce some of your media content apps!
That is genius! I have a bazillion apps on my phone and my kids’ tablets. I think this is such a great way to keep everything nice and simple.
Keeping things nice and simple is a must when you have kids, right?
I have a lot of eBooks on my phone s well as podcasts and sometimes, it really irritates me when they seem too much for my phone memory that I have to do away with them after I’m done. Thus app will definitely come in handy!
Sounds like WEYV is perfect for you!!
There are way too many apps. My phone, tablet and laptop all have different ones. They slow down too much if I download too many.
WEYV can help you get rid of a few of those apps and speed up your phone. You should try their 2 months free trail out!
i so love it to have stumbled this kind of app. thanks to you. I so agree when finally, you can share things like playlists, songs, and albums with other family members of the WEYV app.
Sharing music and more is so easy with WEYV. You’ll love it!
Now that looks like the way to do it! The apps they have these days really give us full control.
I love that WEYV gives full control. Kids need monitoring no matter what they say!
I like that this app is an all-in-one for magazines, music and e-books. I hate having a bunch of apps on my phone, and it really takes up a lot of memory. I like all the music features of this too. I will check it out.
Apps do take up a lot of memory. WEYV is a great app to share music with the whole family!
Interesting App. I especially like the censoring feature and that it has lots of rich content.
WEYV is perfect if you love music and reading. Soon you will be able to listen to podcasts too!
This sounds like a nice app. I have to recommend it to some friends who have kids that are also worried that the kids can end up on the wrong side of the net.
WEYV is also great for those without kids. It’s great for everyone!
I like that it has a child version to monitor and prevent any craziness on the phone while children have it. Especially with the momo sensation going around right now
Yeah everyone seems to be talking about momo. It’s crazy but WEYV keeps that stuff out.
I have never heard of WEYV but this sounds great indeed! Would be amazing if podcasts get added as well.
I know! My husband and son can’t wait for WEYV to add podcasts. That’s all they listen to.
WEYV would be so ideal for my home…all of my devices are cluttered with apps I don’t need and all of that clutter can be really stressful… Thank you for the recommendation
You should try out their two-month free trial. You’ll love WEYV!
Those apps can get out of control. This program seems so smart.
I know, right? There’s an app for everything these days. Thankfully WEYV can lessen the load.
I always try to limit my apps, even if I have a cell phone with a large memory … I do not want to overload and work badly.
That’s true. Too many apps can slow down your phone. I never have that issue but my kids used to before WEYV.
I think this is a great app. It covers so many of the problems you face as a parent and child cell phone relationship.
WEYV is awesome for families and makes this mom stress less!
Never heard of this one before, thanks for sharing
I really need to check this out. Not only would it be nice to have everything in one place, but the peace of mind of not having to worry about all those stupid challenges that kids seem to find is priceless!
I know! All I seem to get emails about from school these days is about that momo challenge. Ugh.
I know! All I seem to get emails about from school these days is about that momo challenge. Ugh.
For some reason, I don’t like logging into websites on my phone. I feel like it is less secure.
Child safety is paramount, with so many hoaxes and other dangerous apps nowadays, good to prevent pure evil
Yes, child safety is so important. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
I really don’t have that many apps that I use but with my android phone it doesn’t take much to be over the limit.
I’m sorry you can go over the limit quite fast. Do you mean your data limit?
I don’t think its the data limit I think its the phone’s limit. I use a cheap $100 phone and need to replace it every couple years. The nicer phones allow so much more.
Oh, okay. I see what you mean. My in-laws do that kind of phones too and you’re right they can’t do as much.
I don’t use a lot of apps.I always make sure the kids apps are safe.
That’s great you don’t use a lot of apps. Many people try an app and then don’t use it, they just clutter up space.
