This post was created in partnership with Voogueme. I was not financially compensated for this post but did receive a sample for review purposes. As always, all opinions are entirely my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support me! Why You Should Own (At Least) Two Pairs of Prescription Eyeglasses

Owning an extra pair or two of prescription eyeglasses can improve your quality of life. Another pair may be used for emergency situations, different activities or to enhance your appearance.

Your lenses are important to your overall health and well-being for various reasons — let’s see how!

Prescription Eyeglasses Can Break or Get Lost

Why You Should Own (At Least) Two Pairs of Prescription Eyeglasses

Not only could your lenses break, but scratches on the surface might make it difficult to see. Without an extra pair readily available, driving, working, chores, and other everyday tasks could become impossible.

Purchasing more eyeglasses now can help you worry less about the future, see better, and enjoy the moment the way everyone deserves to.

I know how much it sucks to not see well.

Losing these could be a significant problem if you need to meet a deadline for a work project or are in a potentially dangerous situation. Keeping another pair near could prevent you from losing your job or, in extreme cases, your life.

Lately, my extra pair of glasses have been the two featured in this post. They both are in the small size range and very lightweight.

I love that on Voogueme’s website I can easily narrow down their vast selections of eyewear to my specific wants. You can filter by gender, rim type, price, material, lens type, size, shape, and color.

If this doesn’t get you where you want to go, I don’t know what will!

For Fashion or Different Activities

Appearance does matter if it adds some positivity to your life.

Picking out a new pair of prescription eyeglasses can be an exciting experience. Plenty of stylish frames in many colors and shapes exist these days.

Be trendy by wearing popular name brands, or stay casual with a pair that’s low-cost but appealing. The right eyeglasses can be fun to wear because you have the chance to express who you are by looking fashionable, intelligent, and unique.

One of our new favorite places to get stylish prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses is Voogueme.

Voogueme offers great-looking eyeglasses at a great price.

Tired of boring frames? At Voogueme, they want you to have fun and embrace your uniqueness. Here you can match your glasses to your unique personality and style.

They have a huge variety of frames, most of which range in price from $20-30. However, if you are looking for something even cheaper they have that too!

Besides this, choose from a variety of lenses and frames for different activities such as sports, computer screen time, reading, night vision, and more. Eyeglasses may be impact-resistant, polarized, anti-glare, or have other useful aspects.

Making smart eyeglass choices can give you freedom, independence, and comfort.

In Case of an Emergency

Why You Should Own (At Least) Two Pairs of Prescription Eyeglasses

If your driver’s license says you’re supposed to be using corrective lenses, be smart and keep an extra pair of eyeglasses in your vehicle at all times. If you forget your glasses at home or the office you can make sure you’ll always drive safely.

Voogueme’s eyewear comes in a hard case that you can easily throw into the glovebox and always be ready.

This pair will be in the car and never be taken out. They can even be a pair of prescription sunglasses so you can drive safely and have good eyesight.

Having prescription sunglasses is much safer than trying to double-layer glasses and oversized sunglasses on top (something my grandmother does). Clip-on sunglasses aren’t really reliable either.

You will drive much safer without the sun in your eyes. This way, if you’re involved in a car crash, your car accident attorney can help you prove you had extra lenses in your vehicle the whole time.

If you never drove without corrective lenses, then it can show how much of a careful driver you are in case you take your case to court.

Taking care of your eyeglasses and vision can save you money, be an investment in the future, and protect your eyes. Your vision should be a top priority because it contributes to health, happiness, and success.

Wearing eyeglasses can be an enjoyable experience. For this reason and others, consider adding two or more pairs to your life today!

I’ve never needed glasses, but my boyfriend does. He lost and then found his glasses broken, so definitely always have two pairs!

I only have one pair with another pair being my old ones that are no longer the same prescription. You have made valid points why you should have two pair.

Sounds like you need to update your glasses but even an old prescription can work in a pinch

I don’t wear glasses, but my 8yr old does & we learned pretty quickly that we needed more than one pair because kids are rough with them. Currently she has 3, lol. A good pair, a backup good pair & a pair that’s been super glued together so many times it’s ridiculous but they’re perfect for rough playing outside.

These are all really good points! I now have two pairs for the first time in my life and I recommend it! I like having two different styles, and if something happens to one pair I easily have a good backup.
