Delicious protein boosted brownies that are cakey on the outside with a rich fudgy center. This chocolatey goodness comes together minutes!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large saucepan, melt 1 cup butter. Remove from heat and let cool. Stir in white sugar and 2 tsp vanilla extract. Lightly beat eggs in a separate bowl and stir into mixture until just combined.
Fold in the remaining dry ingredients for the brownie batter. Scoop batter into the pan and level. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Combine all ingredients and stir until smooth with a fork. Glaze the brownies as soon as they come out of the oven. If using, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Enjoy!
