Homemade Brownies with Plant-Based Protein

Delicious protein boosted brownies that are cakey on the outside with a rich fudgy center. This chocolatey goodness comes together minutes!

Servings 24 squares


Brownie Batter

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup zero calorie white sugar
  • 1 cup zero calorie brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup Chocolate TB12 Plant-Based Protein
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • chocolate chips optional

Chocolate Frosting

  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup zero calorie confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large saucepan, melt 1 cup butter. Remove from heat and let cool. Stir in white sugar and 2 tsp vanilla extract. Lightly beat eggs in a separate bowl and stir into mixture until just combined.

  3. Fold in the remaining dry ingredients for the brownie batter. Scoop batter into the pan and level. Bake for 20-25 minutes. 


  1. Combine all ingredients and stir until smooth with a fork. Glaze the brownies as soon as they come out of the oven. If using, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Enjoy!
